Let’s be honest, Blade saved Marvel from Howard the Duck. Since Howard the Duck was the first and only live-action feature film by Marvel before Blade. Howard the Duck was such a box office failure that Marvel didn’t release any theatrical films for over a decade until Blade. It took the success of Blade to get people excited for Marvel movies. Also, one could argue the failure of Howard the Duck taught Marvel valuable lessons that resulted in the success of the MCU of today. So let’s hear it for Blade and Howard the Duck. Also, Howard the Duck has made cameo's in 3 MCU movies and is partially responsible for Lucasfilm going bankrupt forcing George Lucas to sell part of his company to Steve Jobs creating Pixar. No Howard no, Toy Story. MJ I would die laughing if you did a reaction to Howard the Duck.

Those that disagree are factually wrong. Blade's success at the box office saved marvel because all of the movies were failing and it was about to go under the success of this movie led to the creation of other successful movies. Marvel's first win in the box office

That’s not accurate because marvel was putting out movies in the past and they flopped. Blade literately saved marvel because there is no Iron man without the success of Blade. There is no MCU without the success of Blade. Blade success gave marvel the capital to make their studio and the money to make an Iron man.
