So you’re using NovelAI as well! When I use NovelAI, I usually adjust the prompt to make it about 70–80% similar to my original art style, and then use Vibe Transfer to fill in the remaining 20–30%. Since it’s not the same model, it can’t be 100% identical, but NovelAI has such a wide expressive range with prompts alone that I just can’t give it up. When I worked on Boudica, the style was completely different, so I could only use the images for image-to-image. But recently, I feel like I finally found some clues to matching the art style, so I’m happy that I can use both models now! I can’t promise anything, but I’ll definitely keep the character you mentioned in mind!

I tried using NovelAI’s reference mode, and I realized that in order to maintain the art style and texture of the AI images you create, it’s important to find an art style that is most similar to the original one. When I used references based on a slightly full-figured female body and a drawing style that isn’t overly exaggerated, the results seemed to come out the best. After trying various options, Samui, Reina, and Fubuki were especially well implemented, and I was really satisfied with them. I also wished Makima had turned out well, but since there weren’t original images that clearly showed her face and body from the front, back, and side, she came out a bit dark, so the result was a little disappointing. Anyway, the checkpoint model you use is truly the best! I hope Kiryuin Satsuki gets selected someday and can be created as well!

I’m sorry for keeping you waiting. It’s definitely easier when there are fewer things to adjust about the male character — such as the face, outfit, or situation. The smoothest workflow is when the female character is nude and the male character feels more like an extra. That said, as long as the male character is one that generates well, whether he’s specific or not doesn’t make a huge difference. Of course, having one less thing to tweak always helps, but unless it’s a case where I have to fix things in Krita, the difference isn’t that big. Astolfo, however, was an exception — the model keeps interpreting him as female, so I had to separate and regenerate each scene by area. (Normally, even if a male character doesn’t come out well, it doesn’t affect the female character that much.) It depends on how many similar images I include in one set, but generally, the fewer the pages, the less time it takes overall. I think one of the reasons my uploads have been delayed lately is that the number of pages keeps increasing. I’ll try to reduce them little by little from now on. I thought that particular element might be quite divisive in taste, so I included it in the omake. I can’t promise anything, but if I ever make another omake featuring Astaroth, I’ll consider including it again.
