the face scars are most likely a result of Olympus. As for the god claiming that Ritsuka is his, well there's a pretty valid reason for that

Huh. I noticed the scar across Punished Ritsuka's face with some of your more recent sketches, but I thought it was part of the actual sketch, like basics before filling out the lines for a character. Didn't think it was an actual scar till now. Hmm... When did he get that? Also, I also find it cute that the Eldtrich God claims that particular Ritsuka as its own, but at the same time, there are dozens upon dozens of deities, spirits, demons, Oni, Top GODS, and especially other Eldtrich Gods who all *claimed* Ritsuka at some point or another. It's like that one meme where everyone speculating the absolute carnage that will occur when Ritsuka will die, cause ya know everyone its going go into a frenzy over which Ritsuka afterlife he's settling into. Or just like that one Spongebob episode where Mr. Krabs sold his soul to the Flying Dutchman, only for the latter to find out the hard way that Mr Krabs sold his soul to everyone at some point or other. XD
