The cheetah is undoubtedly a good animal reference for the heroine. I'll show the draft once the game's style is decided.

I've thought of using Ren'py. But because the company I work for requires the use of the Unreal Engine, if I decide to make a VN game, I might want to try to develop it on the Unreal Engine, even though it's not the best option.

I didn't find the dev you mentioned; however, I did find a technique that could be related. The "fur shell technique" seems to be the best solution for characters that have hair; I might try this out if the time allows.

It will be a long start for me to learn the game industry, but you will succeed in the end.

You joined a game company? Congrats. Not really a fan of chibi but otherwise fine with any of the options. For option 1 I've seen a dev by the name of Furrier do alot of fur physics, looks nice but the early versions really killed performance, they've been slowly finding better ways to do it though so might be able to find some ideas from what they've done. If you end up doing a dating/VN game Ren'py is a pretty common engine to work with.

Can't wait to see a cheetah character in any of these styles. I voted of course and still excited

I understand that. The realistic character has its own beauty, especially the rarest, and mystical.

I will likely choose the style with the highest rate. By the time I write this comment, the anime style is the leading option, though its body complexity is higher than that of the chibi. Thus, it increases the difficulty of game development and limits the type of game it can lead to. With my current skill, it would be a miracle if I could successfully code a visual-novel-like dating game. Also, it seems to be a good start for a noob to start from. Should I use the OC from Lunar Soul for the character? Indeed, creating a new character apart will work, too; the point is this will be the choice made by the community in the future when I'm confident enough to create a game.

realistic always gets my attention, too bad not many are interested in it.

Art Styles (4) Which one of these styles will you use to develop your game in the future? Will your game be about Lunar souls or another game?
