Johan Persson

Amazing chapter. I love how thought out the world and the sects are, when it comes to progression. They're immortal, and have collectively seen millions of years of a constant cycle of raising new immortals. Nothing is by chance, they see everything, and they've seen everything.

Stylemys

Lol. Isn’t “Little White” what Tian named his lotus tea pet?

Steve Wright

So, do we all agree that the Princess was introduced to Lin and wasn't impressed, then discovered Tian and was fascinated, and now the Lotus Smelling Boy and the Flying Girl are going to work together to feed Lin's heart demon rich and tasty soup?

Calibri

I’m very much looking forward to Tian’s answer!

William Johnson

He may not be a member of the monastery at all, but if he is he could be anything from a late heavenly person realm elder to the titular ancient crane.

John Smith

Any guesses on how powerful the fisherman is? He had a wild but subtle feat of being able to see wind blown manner and its garden + mansion from the ground. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a daoist master. Despite being an elder, he referred to Elder Feng as if he wasn’t familiar with her or put her in his eyes. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tian becomes his disciple later as a direct disciple.

William Johnson

What's your 5000 year plan young daoist?

William Johnson

I believe she's a Siberian Crane, their heads are like that & they have very long migratory paths.

Noroh

I think Clear Water would be a good name for a crane.

Arah Traveller

Is the bird a flamingo? 🦩

Chillitsagame

Edit suggestion: "It was a fishman" -> fisherman? Or is this a fish person who is also a crane?

Nonnyor Business

Typo, I'll fix it now.

Gardor

"It was a fishman, carrying a net and rod in a bucket on his back." -> fisherman

Reed Icculus

"I would fly into the heavens forever, and shit on salt merchant's wagons and drink tea with all of the other birds." hmmm... I bet he has a slightly better answer to this question than I have imagined myself. You do know that *finishing* a scene isn't against Crane Law, or Ape Law. Or any other kind of Law that I have ever studied, yes Mr. Warby Picus? Btw, My GP was one Anthony Picus for over 30 years, he just retired, during Covid. I really liked him. It is sad that I don't see him or hear from him anymore, as an ex-patient, who joined his practice when he was a mere 2 months out of Med School. I miss Tony. :(

Ryan Naquin

Whitefeather is only slightly better than little white and may result in leg breaking.

Michael

I yelled Nooo as I got to the end of the chapter. Please just a few more lines! Please sir!

Abhi

The story of the Martyr Venerable got so popular that it spawned a Sister Whitefeather I see.

Thomas Lawless

I just noticed that this is a repeat the magic grandfather super ring asked him in chapter 7.

Together_Comic

Warby at this point I think you are going to turn me into a cliff diver. At this point its every single week! I don't think I've ever been so invested. XD

sephirothrr

Is the human crane being introduced as a "fishman" a typo or a Freudian slip?

JTP

Damn, suck me in with gentle beauty, a little flash of humor, then the gut punch. Well done Warby, well done.

CMA27

Another beautiful chapter

ioajfidsnmfomds77

Bird Law!

David

"Tian emerged from his cultivation with a happy sigh" *oh no*

Thomas Lawless

This is a true cultivation story. Absolutely the best I've read. And I have indeed read a lot of glop. Glop: it's a techical term.

Vainirion

“I don’t give a fuck about the Monastery” seems like a wrong kind of answer, but fooling his seniors won’t exactly be easy.

Venerable Ro

Oh no! The dreaded "where do you see yourself after graduation?" conversation!

Steve Wright

Potentially the most dangerous trap Tian has faced yet.
