I’m not really sure where things will go from there, but I am very eager to find out. Is that the same kind of urges you get? And… can we?” People have already commented on Tian propositioning Liren in other chapters and while I REALLY don't wanna start another argument in the patreon comments, I'll just say that I think the way Tian sounded when he spoke was less like a 20 year old man feeling desire for the first time and more like a 12 year old boy who doesn't totally know what sex is. I don't really agree that he's become a horny frat boy over the past two chapters as some said and also think it's okay if a story makes readers uncomfortable at points, even unintentionally. Hell, this sort of miscommunication is an issue that happens to real life couples. But I agree Tian really didn't sound like his current self there to me, like he de-aged a decade for those few sentences. I think you could keep that same story beat and have Tian sound more mature while still being clumsy and artless in his approach.

Yeah, and not to mention that making babies is suppose to be harder the higher your cultivation is, i imagine even the most primitive forms of contraceptions would be enough. If nothing else Tian is a cultivators with perfect control of his body, he can just pull out. That said none of this matter unless Liren feels ready, all the logical reasons in the world wont move the needle for her because she has an irrational(but justified) fear of bringing children to the world.

So why aren't contraceptives a thing? I mean, I can imagine a few reasons, but it seems odd. It would be the simplest solution, and going by the idea that any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology, some alchemist somewhere must have developed something that works. How hard can it be? Ancient Romans had a naturally growing wild herb that did the job so successfully, they harvested it into extinction, true story, look it up, lol.

Woe, puberty be upon ye! The worst part is that Tian's new Horny Toad mentor is going to be so *supportive* and *proud*. Tian is worrying about his cultivation arts when he should be bracing for the flood of unwanted and traumatizing "advice" to increase tenfold.
