This was sped up by 200%, so 2 times the original speed.
The drawing session took me about 1 and half hours.

i don't have anything on the smudge tool yet, but i do have this video about soft & hard edges with the lasso tool: https://www.patreon.com/posts/94305496?collection=96265 It talks a bit about how you can use gradients in this context!

That's so interesting to follow this through. Do you have tutorials on explaining how to use the gradient tool and the smudge tool?
