Developer's rant about Alpha 0.1.2.0.0

Who can explain to me why I started doing all this, roughly speaking at the end of development!?
Okay, to be honest, I definitely screwed up with my plans. In this update, I planned to release multiplayer, character customization, new clothes, new mechanics, updated graphics and adult content. And in general, everything went well at first, but when I started making adult content, I came across poses where parts of the character's body can be at extreme angles, because of this, I decided to add jcm, which would help to deform the joints more correctly. And from that moment on, all the plans went wrong… I discovered that ue uses linear skinning and does not support double quaternion by default, because of this I had to look for a way out of this situation, and eventually I came to a completely different workflow unlike my old one, which I had to kill a lot of time just to learn and switch to it... Now the alembic method is used in the workflow, which eventually allowed me to ALMOST achieve what I wanted, there is still something to work on, but this is much better than it was before. I will post the examples before and after in the full changelog.
To tell the truth, I was on the verge of breaking down all this time, and if you think about it, it's been a long time since I've been under such serious psychological pressure from the project. (Fortunately, I haven't started hearing voices in my head like Anna, and I'm still here.) I felt so bad that I was ready to give up everything. It's also associated with difficulties in personal life, and all of this is layered on top of each other, it's some kind of life test, damn it...
Therefore, I decided to release a new update in the near future as is, and gradually refine and patch up the holes that appeared from the transition to a new skeleton and workflow. I'm tired of torturing myself because I'm biting myself for delaying deadlines for so long
The final solution was the fact that the hair that I added worked well all this time, but there was some problem with the fps drop in certain cases. After spending a lot of time, I still managed to fix it, after that I put together a project and now it doesn't start because of these fucking hairs. Although everything is fine in the editor and during the build of the project there is not that there is no error, not even warnings, but in the final version the game does not even start and most importantly I do not even have the strength and desire to deal with it now, I'm just squeezed out (of course I tried to fix it but I have not yet succeeded)
I wanted to add optimized hair, the ones you saw on that old video about character customization, after this update, but I'll just swap these tasks. During that time, the shape of the character and the skeleton changed, so they need to be redone, which I will do now. And I will deal with those hairs that cause problems and in a future update I will release them as an experimental option, since they still heavily load the system.
I will release the 0.1.2.0.0 update, I think on Sunday or Monday, unless I run into some kind of problem again. It will be very unstable, since the transition to a new skeleton fortunately took place (finally!) and half of the game code was replicated.
So I think there's about 30% left before the cooperative mode, but for now I'll shelve it, since I need to pay more attention to nsfw content because of all these missed deadlines, etc...
I will cut out some things to finalize and release them later, otherwise it may go on forever, but here's what you should definitely expect in the upcoming update:
A completely new mesh and character clothing, which has 2 times more polygons and 4k texture quality, which significantly increased the quality of the models
A new workflow that allowed me to get rid of the limitations associated with the fact that I could not mix clothes in such a way that they could be seen under another one. Now the clothes are mixed in a different way and now you can wear, for example, long tights and on top of them, shorts or leggings and the top layer of clothing will flatten the bottom.

New physics of swaying breasts, buttocks and hips. If you've noticed before that the ass was swinging only in leggings and panties, this was also a limitation of my old workflow. Now it's an honest bone physical shake in any clothes and without.
But damn it, here it is again! I found out that jcm is not compatible with clothing physics, so I'll have to add new bones for things like a skirt so that she can use kawaii physics, for example. So, right now, some clothes don't have a physics simulation working..

Oh my God! That's why I'm still going crazy, my usual monthly changelog is bigger than this one. But it's been so long, and I'm still trampling on the same thing. So much has been done unnoticed during this time, and so little will you see. But I hope it was worth it, the new process in the future will help to add new types of clothes more often, and it will be more diverse. Besides, I think that without him there would be no nsfw
Oh yes, and of course what about adult content. After I release this update, I think that in a couple of days the content will be released along with the hot fix. (Otherwise, people will colonize Mars faster than I will release a hot fix) But as you may have guessed from the above problems, the plan was shot down here and for this reason at the moment it will be just ordinary animations, and there are not many of them, without any context or something like that. But now the workflow is more or less established and I think that soon I will get back into the usual rhythm with updating 1 time per month and then I will finish what I planned. I will describe my intentions in more detail later and then it will be possible to discuss the planned plan.
I really hope for your understanding and I'm sorry if I disappointed someone or something like that, I've eaten myself for this for a long time. But I just want to be honest with you, in the future I will try to take into account my mistakes and not take on too much than I could pull, since anything can happen, including some life moments that will distract you from the development.

I bought a legion go just to play this game. I watched youtubers play for weeks. I know everywhere to go and all the secrets. 1st day playing it I thought nothing could stop me. Died from frost. Next day died of hunger. Last day died from a fux ing tree falling on me. Have to say this is the best game I've played in years.

I'm glad you did the right thing and continue with the project, but nobody here wants a "rabbit" that suffers from his own ambitions.
