At least there are non-embarrassing ways to do mid-length hair. Growing a *beard* on the other hand involves sticking it out through every awkward in-between stage of puberty all over again... :/

Gotta admit, out of all the magic in all the various fantasy series I've read I think this is the magic I'd get the most use out of. Flashy explosions are nice and all, but getting to skip that awkward "I'm growing my hair out and that's why I look scruffy" stage would be priceless. Doubly so if you can use it to cure baldness cause hoo boy is that a big pile of money you'd be sitting on there.

I grew my hair out long. My wife loves it, though the upkeep is a bit annoying. Short hair is just so easy!
