Where do I get the multiverse pod?
- V0.4: Ylyee appears at 15:00 in the bar after you have earned around 200k. Watch her dance and give her 500 Cr
- V0.5: Ylyee appears from GAME day 10, no other conditions
How do I use it?
- Select it in inventory, select use mode and use on cargo terminal
- Everything in cargo will be shown for selection
- Save your game before you use it!
Can I store x,y,z in it?
- V0.4: Only subsystems and subunits in cargo
- V0.5: Additionally 3 bots
- No credits. You can buy expensive gear instead and put it in
How do I get my stuff into my new game?
>> Version 0.4, V0.5
- After the pod has been filled, a file is created in your SJX/game... subfolder
- The file is called "multiverse_pod.json"
- Take the file, copy it into the same location in the new game version install
- On the nav map, a rift with the pod will appear
- Fly there, get your stuff (make sure cargo is sufficient, one access only)

- After the pod has been filled, a file is created in your save games folder:
++ WIN: Users/<your user>/Appdata/Roaming/Renpy/SpaceJourneyX
++ MAC: Users/<your user>/Library/Renpy/SpaceJourneyX
If your renpy saves called LT-xx-xx are in that folder its the right one - The file is called "multiverse_pod.json"
- V0.6 will automatically pull the file from there, no copy necessary
- If you come from V0.5, just dump it once into above folder
- On the nav map, a rift with the pod will appear
- Fly there, get your stuff (make sure cargo is sufficient, one access only)
Can I edit the multiverse_pod.json file to give me more stuff?
- The file is hashed, if it is edited it will be considered corrupted
- Use cheats for free stuff, that's easier anyway
Can I use it multiple times in a single game?
- No, for every (new) game or restarted game you can use it once
- The file remains unchanged _until_ you use the pod in the new game to store new stuff again
- If you restart a new game in the same version, you can get your stuff each time anew
No multiverse pod file is saved!
- If you are running a MAC and the multiverse pod won't save, drag the app on the desktop and play from there.
- That fixes the file access issue the game may have on some OSX configurations in a safe way. No need to fiddle around with chmod.
Help, my game crashes when I use the pod!
- Your game needs write access into its own .../game/... subfolder
- Normally it should have that unless you play it from some read only location
- If you're on a MAC: Move the app to the desktop as workaround and run it from there
Wtf does this post need an animation for!?
- Played around with the sparks animation in blender I want to use for the repair location visualisation and slapped it on the pod :)

Will the multiverse pod stay compatible with future versions? i.e. will it be possible to acces a pod from v0.4 in v0.6+?
