So the commercial tier hasn't changed? We can sell as much as we want through the commercial tier? Is distribution for places like temu or dropshipping? Because $100 simply makes selling printed models too costly. Places like temu, aliexpress, and shein will just continue to sell without paying anyway and I can't see it as legally enforceable due to their china homebase.

I'd recommend going into the Discord. (discord.gg/cinderwing3d) theres been tons of these printed with little issue. The non-manifolds wouldnt effect the end slice

I can't for the life of me get the link on plate 2 of the 200% crystal dragon to print, both Bambu Studio and Orca tell me there are non manifold edges and whether I print it without repairing or I repair it it never comes out properly, I have tried lots of different settings and I am still unable to get it to print without being a mess, it is sticking to the build plate it just won't print properly. Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know how to fix it?

I printed a dragon at 125% and an egg at almost 175% to fit it... kinda tight, but it fit.... was a prize at show held by my club!

Generally they fit 1:1 but for winged if you want more room I suggest going up 10%

Where did you find your badge? I have two memberships with them and I have not received that badge. is that the one where you complete a form? I did, so I guess I have to wait?? I too am new to this so its a learning process. My husband got me hooked on this 3d printing and I have taken over his profiles. We just got our 3D printer for Christmas and my daughter is so excited to have these files! I got my MMF account set up. Is there an easy way to have all the designs available in there? I've downloaded the files in the welcome pack, and think I'm going to want a better storage solution than the hard drive on my computer! Do I just need to upload each of the files into my account? Or do you send out an email with access like you did for the January files?

Just wanted to drop in and say that I absolutely LOVE your collection! I recently (last year) got into the hobby due to it being part of our new curriculum (engineering teacher for middle school) and every month we add a new dragon to our growing menagerie. The kids absolutely love them. We have a whole flock at this point, and (from what I hear), there is much drama between the dragons ever since the Bat Dragon joined us for Halloween. I hadn't printed a stand for it, so it had to "Share", and according to my 6th graders, "Crystal" was extremely upset by it! I especially love the minis you provide as well as they are nice to give out as prizes for our in-class competitions.

Patreon has been doing some weird thing lately where it applies "filters" that shows a blank page. If the page is blank, just click the big button that says remove filters. Then they'll show.

I get the baby crystal dragon to scale down well below the 60% tested amount and they work well as earrings too. I suggest going with baby crystal dragon scaled down, run test prints to see how low you can go ;)

Hello, I went to the redeem email for this past month's (August) releases and the baby dune striker and the spider pack seem to be missing. I thought it was because they were supporter exclusives, as the five others (crab, crystal crab, bat, infested dragon, and hollow turtle) are there, until I saw that last month's exclusives were included on MMF. Any ideas on what I did wrong?

Ok thank you. I found those, but not the tiny crystal dragon (like the tadling, which are small but with 4 legs). She thinks the 2 legged tadlings are "creepy" lol. The baby dragons are a bit too large for party favors - I didn't see any notes about down scaling those. She showed me a bunch of ads on youtube that are selling the tiny four-legged wingless , but I couldn't find the files to make them myself. Am I misunderstanding what the ones she showed me are?

When I send the starter pack files to bamboo lab it will not give me the option to print, any reason why? I slice and then will not let me print. I am new to 3d printing and appreciate any help!

As Admin Jazzy said above, you will ALWAYS get your models, but I don't always have a schedule for release as some things take extra long in testing. The drops usually come towards the middle of the month, IMO kinda stinks. The majority of people here sell their prints at shows all month long, not just the 2nd half of the month. But, she has great models!

Yep! I specifically left it to pieces cause this one has SO many nooks and crannies and I wanted to give people the option in case they wanted to customize the paint job. There also seem to be some memory leak issues with Bambu Studio(as of version 1.8.4) so please bear this in mind as well

By the looks of it, Dino and Dog have done it - From just assuming how it works, which is you put all the month's files into a folder and share that with the current email addresses that are linked to the last month, I assume it'd be the same principle? Such as putting all of the welcome pack into a folder and then sharing it with everyone that has subscribed. Again that's just an assumption of how it works. I'd imagine there's a tad more too it than that though.

There is not a Lunar Dragon Egg, you may be referring to the Infinity Egg which was part of the FronTiers campaign and is not available. The other eggs are the Crystal Egg (subscriber exclusive), the Dragon Scale )free if you were subbed that month, otherwise public sale), and the Advent Calender Eggs (same as dragon scale). Including the Infinity, thats the four.

I also do crochet, macrame, resin art, metal stamping, tumblers, pens, keychains etc and now I am extremely excited to add 3D printing to my repertoire! Lol. Well, we ended up buying the Bambu X1 Carbon combo and are blown away! No regrets here. Well, we do need to transfer much filament from cardboard spools. 😁😆🤣

The X1 is only slightly better, and its not because of speed. you can add the axillary cooling fan to the P1P but even without it the X1 doesn't print significantly faster. id gladly trade my X1 for 2 P1Ps. the extra production would outweigh any feature on the X1

The P1P is really the way to go if you just plan on printing models like this, you would still be saving money over the x1 combo. but the x1 sure does look cleaner. i dont really see any huge improvements in speed or quality of my prints comparing the two printers

Everything you said about the X1C being better, Can be done with the P1P, except the touch screen, Also its on sale for $599,

The X1 is better and faster than the P1P. They decrease the speed on the P1P because of the lack of cooling the P1P has compared to the X1. The X1 also is better if you live in humid areas as it is contained with a door on the front and the AMS (if you add that) is also sealed. Also, the X1 has a touch screen display and the P1P has the old style navigational display. Big difference in price, but I would get the X1 if you can afford it. P1P is obviously better than getting a Ender 3 or 5, etc and you can improve that which I said was governed down by Bambu by purchasing the chamber fan setup and making the configuration changes in the slicer.

My husband got me one for mothers day and it's awesome! The AMS holds 4 spools and you can print spool holders for other brand PLA spools. Bambu PLA is roughly same cost as other brands, but it automatically detects color spools vs manually entering color. I hope that makes sense!

I wasn't sure where to post this, but for anyone who is running a budget printer like me, (creality ender) there is new slicing software out, Creality Print. I have dropped Cura and the original creality slicer, and my prints are running faster with better quality.

The email from MMF is sent out at the end of every month with a link for access to that last month. For example, if you joined in December, you will recieve an email at the END of December for access to December's models (in case you might have missed any) :) Hope this helps!

They do fit 6x2 magnets. The holes are slightly larger and we have been able to press them in, shouldn't be too hard to push is but also don't need glue at that point :) - Also magnet hole is one of the open modifications that any Cinders can make on these designs. Feel free to expand/cut them to any size you need!

Have a question. i sent a message back in September asking what size magnet to use with the rose turtle magnet print. I didnt hear back. Went looking to see if i could find what size it took and finally found 6 x 2 neodymium magnets. Ordered them on amazon, and when i went to glue them in today, they are to big for the hole on the bottom, Is 6x2 the correct size? i did not change the print size in cura when i loaded the file to print. Are you able to suggest any pointers to help? thank you in advance,
