quick question. Seeing as magiscript runes are circular and can be stacked, and the core is a perfect sphere, wouldnt it make more sense if each unit cell is stacked into a single ring? feels like a more stable and scalable solution. also, to add more rings, wouldnt it be easier to just tilt them? basicslly make an astrolabe of rings, each at the full size of the core

I suspect the artificial advancement will involve a process similar to the compression principle. I’m guessing the runes within the core will be used to compress the mana into the next grade and this will be used alongside the dance. That would virtually elevate each of the cores by two grades

I can see your difficulty in grasping the concept of a personality and memory merge. One easy example of an extreme merge, that I would recommend for you watch to get used to this concept is the new tv show Pluribus. That would give you a good idea of how to view Percy/ Micky from the moment they became the Lone Wanderer

I dont like Micky does exactly what you would expect Percy to do. There is no difference in personalities to suggest 2 souls living in 1. IMO micky should not involve himself with runes at all. He is now exactly the same as Percy but with a different background

Well, the goal is to upgrade Aurora Dew to use royal jelly as soon as possible - at least for his own cores. If he switched to 20x speed his beast core might be fine but the royal wasps would never be able to produce enough jelly unless they entered the Valley too but then they wouldn’t have enough food

So compression = advancement. Dew = some permanent compression. Cracks= more bang for your buck. Since it takes double the amount of time to go from 1 advancement to the next, something must be getting used up. I wonder if there is a comprehensive self-repair one could put inside a core to generate what was lost and go from White to Clear in the same amount of time as Red to Orange?

Gosh, remember when a masterful spell was something to make a big deal of? Now, he's basically a nearly developed magical genius. And with the hive situation nicely dealt with, now he has time to sit down, focus and not rush everything as much. Pecky is going to get scarier.
