Upcoming Changes (Price Increase + Discord)

We've got some pretty important changes coming up soon, so I just wanted to make you all aware of them in advance.
Firstly, I'm sad to say that I'm probably going to need to up my prices a little. I'm really sorry about this, but with how expensive the mere act of existing is getting these days, it has just become necessary. So with that said, I'm going to be increasing the $3 tier to $3.50, and the $6 tier to $7. Thankfully, one bit of solace you can all take is that raising prices on Patreon is a bit of a pain, requiring the creation of new tiers entirely and for everyone to switch over to those new tiers, so you can rest assured I won't be doing this again any time soon. However, this does tie in to the next major announcement:
I will be switching to a Discord server for content hosting. Pretty sure this is no big surprise, given I did the poll quite sometime ago, but I have finally managed to get the server set up and ready to go. I'm hoping that this will better facilitate content sharing, discussion, updates on the status of the game, and reduce piracy.
These changes are not going to be immediate though. I don't really want to mess around with price changes right as everyone's getting charged for the month, so the newly priced tiers, which will be linked to the Discord server, will be going live on the 7th of April, A.K.A. next Friday. I'll keep the old tiers up and running for about a week afterward to give people time to change over, but after that the old tiers will be shut down, and we will be entirely on the new system.
All that being said, it doesn't sit well with me to increase my prices without hearing what I could be doing better, or what more you'd like to see from me. So (while bracing myself), I would like to ask for any feedback you have on how I'm doing, what more you think I could be doing, or anything you've been particularly pleased or dissatisfied by. Also, feel free to suggest what you'd like to see out of a Discord server. I've made mine pretty bare-bones at the moment, as I'm not particularly looking to make it a community hub or anything, but I'm happy to hear any suggestions that you may have.
As always, thank you all for your continued support, especially through these rough economic times. I really can't express how much it means to me to have people who think what I do is worth a damn, and worth a dime, too. Your support means the world to me, and QK's ongoing heroics would not be possible without it.

Nothing wrong on your side! I've just been having some issues with Patreon this weekend. Those are resolved now though, so with any luck the new tiers will be going live tomorrow!

Thank you! Yeah, I definitely want to have powerups and pickups, I just need to work on them. Boss fights... will probably be getting slightly toned down after Megalith. Or they won't be macro, at least. (Except maybe the last one). And understood! Vore is certainly popular.

hey ya, uh, little update, but due to recent financial decisions, i'll have to cut a bunch of monthly stuff, including the patreon here, at least until i get a job, so unfortunately i won't join the server and stuff for a while still, i wish ya the best of luck and i wish everyone to have a great time with your projects, see y'all in the likely-close future

I really like QK. It's impressive with what you done so far with the game. I know we are still on level 1, but it's good so far. As far as what I would to see in the game: I think more arcade elements such as power ups like health restore, extra lives, and extra firepower would be cool. More insane boss fights like Megalith. In terms of kinks I would say more vorish elements but that's just me. Keep up the good work.

this is all understandable, and i think this increase is not gonna affect anyone negatively, i'm interested in joining the server once it comes, hope this change helps you a lot with money, keep the great work and have a great day!
