B I think the vest is a nice touch for character design, makes the composition have a nice direction overall when looking it over, and personally it just feels more natural to see

B. Vest adds more character to him! Makes the design a little more complex than just the shorts. Clothing can add a LOT to communicating character (I've learned a bit about that in writing, though that's less visual and you have to be more sparing with details lest you bore the reader with describing everything EXACTLY as it is.) The vest gives a bit more chance for character expression. And I'm usually for more clothing/jewelry/accessories for character work just because it's more communicated, and it's harder to overdo it with art than with writing (not trying to imply art isn't easy, or it's not easy to make mistakes, but with writing, one or two sentences can be the difference between doing and overdoing good descriptions). Fantastic work regardless! And the salmon color works really well for balance!

I'm so indecisive rn xD The vest adds more detail and attraction, but it bothers me that it covers up a bit of his body even tho it isn't much that it's covering up xD. I think ima going with B cuz it makes the illustration more appealing. Also, Great work!! I love it!! Is it just me, or is your style going through some small changes/improvements?
