That could be a part of it. Horses have a more noticeably rounder jawline near the back. Some secondary things could also be the shape of the end of the snout and the nose. Definitely check out some references for those, you will be surprised with how different they are. I definitely was 😉

Not at all! So, sometimes I find simple standing poses, and anatomy can be more difficult than something more "action-y" or complex, since you can get away with far less mistakes with a simple pose. So I was really trying focus on, first, to make the pose not seem so "stiff" and second to make sure my forms were good and that the forms were believable.

I’ve genuinely been struggling drawing my bull because it always ends up looking more horse-like then bull. I genuinely think it comes down largely to the shape of the jaw.
