Anatomy form study suggestions?
🕑 Added 2023-05-19 02:10:46 +0000 UTCThinking about doing more studies eventually like the ones above, and was wondering if there were any specific poses you guys wanted to see. Feel free to link refs in your comments too, if you find that it helps with your suggestion!
I'll probably end up going with Cypress again, though Chiron could be a good subject as well.
Let me know what you guys think 👍

how about fighting & martial arts poses, like https://www.posemaniacs.com/tools/viewer/poses/01GBVYKPYQP3NYG86ZKZXQH8Y9 for example?

what about a specie you never done, a red elk ? https://i0.wp.com/www.electricsheepmagazine.co.uk/features/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Princess-Mononoke-1.jpg

I’d love to see your take on a displacer beast anthropomorphic character. I know it’s not your favorite moo, but your grasp of anatomy could really do one justice. Parkour wall vaulting would be crazy fun with the extra limbs. https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/athlete-jumping-over-a-wall-free-running-parkour-stock-photo-gm1184206037-333248740

Yah or just fight poses

I'd love to see some more focusing on the serratus anterior, or the chest and torso muscles as something is being lifted overhead.

i don't have poses suggest idea now but i would love to see more of dynamic, flow and twist muscle from you!! i really love when i feel the movement and dynamic from you art xD

Like with his weapon? That sounds cool 🤔

I really liked the one where he was drinking, and I don't think I've seen your characters eating so maybe eating/sitting poses if you are alright with it! Maybe a burger or ice cream since those might be easier 👍

It'll likely just be Cypress or Chiron but perhaps how about Spruce for one? He has a more relaxed/day to day feel to him unless his lore has changed 🤔

Chiron would be an awesome reference! And something that would be REALLY helpful would be poses with foreshortening. Foreshortened limbs, a foreshortened torso behind the hips/glutes or vice versa. Also twisting torsos would be really helpful. Both for front, back, and especially profile view (understanding abdominal, oblique, and serratus muscles as they twist is tricky) Thanks!

I think it would be cool to see a few traditional olympic poses that show off a variety of interesting positions and muscle groups. Stuff like the discus throw, long jump, javelin throw, sprinting, etc. A couple images for reference: https://images.app.goo.gl/ZnVAT4A2Pgpci2YFA https://images.app.goo.gl/LpiQLujUCjAXdTpYA

Some dynamic martial arts poses such as capoeira? Wouldn’t want to spark a rivalry with Brasa though…

I would love to see poses with forshortened arms and legs. Front view of crouching, fists up, arm in a "blocking" position
Eddie Santiago
Maybe we could see him performing a sliding pose.

Think you've probably covered more than most, always thought the heavy object lifts back and front were neat because of muscles. Like the Boulder over head lift. What's the one with ball and chain throw?
Budge
I feel like any of the various Matrix bullet time poses would be interesting (if not a bit complicated and/or cliche 😄)
