Some Sketches!
🕑 Added 2025-01-15 06:07:25 +0000 UTCHey guys! Apologies for the lack of content for the last few days. I was dealing with some pretty bad headaches due to a neck strain from last Thursday, and I couldn't get into Physio until yesterday. So art was a bit slow going unfortunately. Luckily I'm feeling a lot better after the appointment, and was able to get back into it!
First Sketch (Lady of the Mountain) was an idea that I'd had swimming about for about the last 2-3 weeks, but just haven't had the chance to put it down until now lol. Basically it's a standoff with Cypress against some sort of mountain Harpy or Demon. I think the main idea behind this is that I would like to do more narrative pieces that aren't completely focused only on characters, but also include some scenery/landscapes and possible world building. Besides, I need more practice with environments anyway, so it may be a good idea to start the year off with some more of that π
The second sketch was more of a little joke after Growlshift commented about me having to doodle a "stick moo." Knowing that I tend to bend the rules a bit, this ended up being the result... A moo with a stick (a BEEG stick) π

You've always done fantastic work with telling a story in a single scene! Even as a sketch you can get a feel for the tension and impending conflict. Easy you imagine the words leading up to it. Cypress says, "I like pancakes," to which the harpy replies, "SO YOU HATE WAFFLES, THEN?"
