Cypress's MOOOth - Sculpt (WIP)
🕑 Added 2025-02-04 18:36:02 +0000 UTCHey guys! Another quick update on the moo sculpt! ๐ฎ I have given the boi a mouth (teefs included)! ๐
Process for this was pretty straight forward. First I masked off the whole of the face except for the lower jaw, then used the gizmo too to hinge the jaw downward. Cleaned up the new space where the stretched polygons now were, then did the same process, only leaving the mouth gap unmasked. Used the gizmo again to push that area inward to make the mouth cavity. So, now that the polygons for the cavity were all stretched, I used the quad remesher tool to make all of the polygons nice an tidy again. After that, it was just about making all the separate mouth components (gums/palate, teeth and tongue) separately. Fresh coat of pain for everything and then it was done! It was time consuming, but I think it was worth it ๐
He may now moo to his heart's content ๐
Also, prior to working on the mouth, I was chatting with a friend about lower back anatomy, and how it was difficult to find good refs for that area. There are usually wrinkles and a bit of fat rolls in the lower back area when the muscles are relaxed (and the back is in a neutral position). It's a minor detail, but it helps to make the muscles in that area look more natual in a relaxed state. The issue with most refs for the lower back though, is that it's usually bodybuilders, and the area is typically flexed and there's very little fat. ๐
With that conversation, I had then remembered that I hadn't added the bit of skin/fat wrinkles on his lower back for this sculpt lol. So those are now there too ๐ (I included a before and after so you guys can see the difference)

give me the files and in a week-end or two you will have a rigged version >:3 Tho, I don't know any easy to use animation apps. I would say Blender does a good job but far from being easy for a first time
