🕑 Added 2024-03-04 20:00:02 +0000 UTCHey there, Patrons! First of all, just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your support - both those of you who've been here the whole time and those of you who've just signed up. It really does mean the world to us.
Those of you who used to be here will remember that we used to open Patreon specials up for voting - we suggested two or three options, and we let you guys choose. That was always a bit of a logistics nightmare - it only ever left two or three weeks for us to record them no matter what else was going on in our lives - so we're not going to be doing that again, at least for the foreseeable future.
But! Because you guys are quite literally paying for these specials, we wanted to open up the floor and hear your ideas for what we should cover this year! We have a few ideas on the board already, including our April special, but there's never any harm in adding things to the list!
So, if you have an idea for something that would be fun for us to check out, let us know in the comments below! I won't make any promises - we only have so many specials a year, after all - but if it's in the comments we'll definitely take a look and see if it's right for us!

Kamen Rider Kuuga might be an interesting one. It’s the first modern Kamen Rider after a long hiatus and, thematically, it’s probably the closest to Shin Kamen Rider out of the 21st century shows. Other than that, you guys may enjoy GARO, a gothic-horror Tokusatsu.

Came here to suggest ReBoot as well, but doing some of the episodes in the middle of season 3, the episodes before and after the time skip in particular.

I had totally forgotten about the marvel series he did with ultraman! Got to pick those up. I was hoping with shin godzilla and shin kamen rider (great episode btw) that shin ultraman would had been next but that makes sense. What about neon genesis, figure go all in with Hideaki Anno.

Those Kamen Riders have been recommended by a few people, so they're on the list for sure. Smaller toku stuff too - I just have to have the time to make sure we're not accidentally watching any of the stuff that's secretly... adult material. We've done Mystic Knights before - should be in this feed!

Unfortunately we watched Shin Ultraman for fun, like chumps, so we'll probably never do an episode on it. I wonder if Mat's seen Darkplace - I haven't seen it in probably 10 years at this point.

Ultraman's off the table, at least for now - Mat works on the franchise professionally. I definitely think more Kamen Rider will happen, but we'll try to space it out a bit.

How about Dinosaurs, that 90s sitcom. It's on Disney plus (in the off chance you have a subscription) and is an odd show at times. I guess pick a random episode? Or the controversial finale?

How about some ultraman series? I love the kamen rider episodes you do so those might be fun. Or watch the first episode of kamen rider and then the last and try to fill in what happened.
