Handing over the reins (step by step)
🕑 Added 2017-11-10 14:06:59 +0000 UTC In this step by step, you can witness I didn't want a heavy jungle background to mix with the ongoing action, so I chose to vanish parts of it.I like the evolution of the action between the two, you have so much more to discover, believe me, hehe! This angle offered me to draw his back in effort. I also went for a helpless hand that emphasis the emotion.
Last point, I knew from the start I wanted to rotate a bit the image, so it's not made during the layout, as I can do for some panels, but here it's created right from the sketch.
