The final drawing is really close to the original storyboard, which is odd for a pose that complex!

Aww, thanks! Yes, I wanted to induce so much on their dynamic & mutual feelings at that point. Eye contact is important and these past years I put lots of communication in the hands. For the record, hands are like a nightmare to draw for any artist I met, haha! But when you understand their value & how it makes THE difference in a pose, you need to learn to master them as much as you can.

You know I love me some hairy men. But I think what does it for me personally in this one is how they are looking into each other's eyes. And the detail put into the hand gripping that rough lower jaw. There's a lot of passion and intensity in those portions. I love it!
