Heat 0.3.2.2 Milestone - Marina!
🕑 Added 2021-11-29 22:59:16 +0000 UTCMeet Marina! Our big busty shark is ready to show you a good time! As alluded to earlier she has a chubbiness slider for those that want her on the bigger side. She's voiced by Bordeaux Black! More poses will be added to her in the future, as with the other characters.
Next month we'll be working on adding remote toy support. I can't promise it'll make it in time since working with external libraries can be super finicky, but I don't forsee it being too difficult. The plan is to connect these interactions to the penetrable toy, so when you or the characters stick things inside it, the irl toy will vibrate more the deeper or faster it goes. If you have any other ideas of how to interact with real-world toys let me know!
Next month will be a bit shorter as well since I'll be taking a desperately-needed 2 weeks off for the holidays at the end of December. My first break since last year. Also I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled on the 15th and I'll be in a lot of pain D:

How to run Heat(Remember you need SteamVR to run the game in VR, and 7zip(recommended) or WinRAR to unpack it.)
New Patrons: Patreon is really slow at the beginning of the month and may take a few hours to acknowledge you're a patron for the authentication. Patreon is not updating a handful of user's pages and is failing to auth even after a long time. If you can't auth, try relogging into Patreon. If it still doesn't work, go into your Patreon profile and change any setting, such as your Patreon name or pledge privacy setting to force Patreon to update your profile. The auth should work after that. If it doesn't message me on Discord or Patreon.

Oculus/Index:
- B: Menu
- A: Radial Menu

- Trigger whilst holding toy: Shoot
Vive:
I've completely run out of buttons on this thing so you may need to customize the controls in the SteamVR overlay. If you have any suggestion on how best to bind everything, let me know on Discord please.
- That weird button close to the pad: Menu
- Grip: Shoot w/ toys
- Bottom of touchpad: Kiss/Lick
- Left Touchpad: Move
- Sides of Right Touchpad: Rotate
- Top of Touchpad whilst holding toy: Radial Menu
WMR
WMR controls change depending on the model, and some actions may be unbound entirely. You can see/edit your bindings by going to the settings in the SteamVR overlay and adjust the bindings and add any missing actions there.
For 2D:
- ESC: Close/move menu
- WASD: Move
- Q/E or Ctrl/Space: Move up and Down
- TAB: Open Radial Menu
- N: Extend tongue/kiss
- M whilst holding toy: Shoot
- Click: Grab something when the cursor lights up green
- R/F and Z/X: Rotate item in hand
- Mouse Wheel: Move object away or towards the camera
- Mouse: Rub something when the hand moves in
The 2D interactions are still experimental and limited, but hopefully still enjoyable :)

Known Issues
- Laser might not register with UI sometimes, possible fixes are: Game restart, by setting the game window to focus by clicking on it, or by alt-tabbing (let me know if this still happens, I may have fixed it)
- Your hand can crumple up if both hands go to touch the same thing for the first time. To fix this just move both hands away from the character for a bit and it should stop happening
- Browser doesn't launch when hitting authenticate, or refuses to connect: Try running in admin mode or setting a different browser to default temporarily
Common Solutions to Game Issues
These are common solutions to many problems, ranging from the tongue not spawning to the game not launching in VR, or the game not authenticating. Try these out first if you're having issues, they work surprisingly often. If they don't work, message me and I'll be glad to help.
- Running the game as admin
- Re-downloading and re-extracting the game. The download getting corrupted is surprisingly common
- Adding the game as a non-steam game then running from within SteamVR (if not working in VR)
- Reinstall/validate SteamVR
- Update video drivers
- Clicking on the game window with your mouse when the game is open then putting on your VR headset (if the laser doesn't work)
- Make sure the game isn't installed within any folders that have winky faces or other unusual characters in them
- Restarting the game

New patron here, happy to have found this game because it's really good already! Marina is very hot too, any plans on adding more sliders like the chubbiness to characters? Some things I've noticed while playing around (Oculus Quest 1 with Link): - not sure why the cum trigger on controller-attached toys is on the other hand trigger, kind of awkward to use if my hands are also busy with other stuff, would be cool to have the trigger on the toy hand too. - also for toy-attachment hand, I guess it was a deliberate choice that non-teleport movement gets turned off on that controller? Would be nice to still have it available or at least when no toy is attached there - the fact that dragging (scrolling) the options menu is the same button as "clicking" on something is infuriating. I have been changing my scale / height adjust back and forth a lot and it's been a pain to toggle that when half the time it just tries to drag the menu... - any chance to have options to switch between scales quickly? E.g. if I want to go to 15 or 25% scale (I never understood the appeal of micro/macro fetishes but this has given me new perspectives :v) and back to 90 or 120% is slightly tedious. - An option like in Captain Hardcore to set the, err, "dilation" of holes manually would be cool, maybe an option to have their mouth open permanently - make tails a bit more manageable when I move them out of the way? Like standing behind a character and trying to see what's going on down there it isn't very fun if the tail always flops right back down when I push it aside or up. Make it stay up or to the side when I put it there. Doesn't have to be frozen in place but at least not fall back down... - Edit: one more thing actually, would it be possible to re-grab toys in different orientations? E.g. if I have the pentrable toy in one hand, turn it over and try to put it in my other hand in that direction, it flips back since there's only a single direction to hold it in. Would be nice to hold it the other way around, same for re-grabbing other toys in different orientations. Outside of these smaller issues this is already amazing as I said, keep it going! :)

why not give the viewer a option to have their own avatar they can customise so the game feels more immersive? then the option to add a small screen and a camera to face yourself and you can watch your avatar have fun using the screen, have fun ! x

I've seen another came called Captain Hardcore that had an interesting system where you could add a vive tracker to a fleshlight and moving that could move a characters hips and such in the game. Could be a great feature to add in the future.
