Heat 0.5.8.2 Milestone - Astera penis + swappable parts, 5 new skins, new threesome pose
🕑 Added 2024-01-27 01:01:29 +0000 UTCAstera's gone back for refurbishment from the factory and got upgraded to the newest Synth body, and now her parts can be removed just like Vertex! They're even interchangeable (as well as they'll fit anyways). This also means she can have a penis attached! This turned out to be quite a tough feature and required quite a lot of internal refactoring, but we figured if both synths are gonna have removable parts, they have to be interchangeable.
Additionally, a whole new batch of skins have been added from Sidekick! This includes Dadbod Atlas, Star Captain Marina, Tropical Emmy, Druid Aurora, and Demon Riley!
And lastly, we've finally got a threesome. Our lovely boy Riley getting plowed by both Atlas and Garret. Stretchy!
We've also start work towards next month's feature, and you can see it on some characters. It's an often requested one. Can you guess what it is?

How to run Heat (Remember you need SteamVR to run the game in VR, and 7zip(recommended) or WinRAR to unpack it.)

WMR
WMR controls change depending on the model, and some actions may be unbound entirely. You can see/edit your bindings by going to the settings in the SteamVR overlay and adjust the bindings and add any missing actions there.
For 2D:
- ESC: Close/move menu
- WASD: Move
- P/L: Switch between VR mode and 2D mode
- Q/E or Ctrl/Space: Move up and Down
- TAB: Open Radial Menu
- N: Extend tongue/kiss
- M whilst holding toy: Shoot
- Click: Grab something when the cursor lights up green
- R/F, Z/X, T/G: Rotate item in hand
- Mouse Wheel: Move object away or towards the camera
- Mouse: Rub something when the hand moves in Debug Keys:
- I: Make character erect
- C: Make character climax

Known Issues
- Laser might not register with UI sometimes, possible fixes are: Game restart, by setting the game window to focus by clicking on it, or by alt-tabbing (let me know if this still happens, I may have fixed it)
- Browser doesn't launch when hitting authenticate, or refuses to connect: Try running in admin mode or setting a different browser to default temporarily
Common Solutions to Game Issues
These are common solutions to many problems, ranging from the tongue not spawning to the game not launching in VR, or the game not authenticating. Try these out first if you're having issues, they work surprisingly often. If they don't work, message me and I'll be glad to help.
All issues (try these first):
- Right click on verifyintegrity.ps1 and select 'Run with PowerShell' to validate your files. If this fails, redownload the game. The download got corrupted.
- Make sure the game isn't installed within any folders that have winky faces or other unusual characters in them at any part in the path. This includes characters from other languages.
- Webroot, and rarely other antiviruses falsely flag the game and will delete its files without telling you anything. Make sure they don't do that
- Restart the game and your computer
Auth issues:
- If you have a localhost error in your browser, press the auth trouble button below the authenticate button and follow the directions exactly.
- Check "use alternate port" below the authenticate button
- Run the game as admin
- Make sure an antivirus isn't messing with Heat
- Make sure game is let through firewall
- Set a different browser to default temporarily
- Disable adblocker temporarily
- Disable any security that could prevent your computer from opening a socket and accepting a connection temporarily
VR issues:
- Adding the game as a non-steam game then running from within SteamVR (if not working in VR)
- Press P to switch to 2D mode and L to switch to VR mode on your keyboard
- If your hands don't work, reset SteamVR bindings for the game. If you can't do this, launch the game from the .exe, not from the Steam shortcut
- If you're using Oculus and the game doesn't launch in VR, launch SteamVR and sit in it for about 30 seconds then run the game from within SteamVR
- Reinstall/validate SteamVR and Oculus software
- Update video drivers
- Clicking on the game window with your mouse when the game is open then putting on your VR headset (if the UI laser doesn't work)
- Make sure the game isn't installed within any folders that have winky faces or other unusual characters in them at any part in the path. This includes characters from other languages.
- If you have trouble with Lovense connections, watch the pinned video in the Lovense channel on the Discord.

Is there any like videos or guides. Having a ton of issues with VR player body stuff. Bugs out so hard. Changing avatars player body is on makes your camera tilt like you’re at a angle. Do it enough and you flip upside. Same effect with turning on off player body. Also having issues with pushing the dick on the avatar into a character. Also height being weird. Gotta reach really far down to grab my avatars dick 😭. And I can’t hold on. I just ejaculate when i try to grab it to guide it to a hole. Do I need to get a waist tracker app thing? For now I’m stuck playing flatscreen cuz vr is too much of a hassle.

I’m guessing you mean like angles. R,F T,G Z and X move the character or whatever body part. I can’t say what button does what. Muscle memory but just press whatever and you’ll figure out. I do know Z left turn. X right turn.

How can I make the characters turn and move in a different direction with the keyboard? I’ve tried the instructions and nothing seems to work. Up and down are no issue. But turning doesn’t seem to work for me.

i've been having similar issues with my Max 2, i'd have everything correctly set up and it simply wouldn't respond to the interactions in game or it would be spotty. work during an action then completely stopping all together.

You're right, I've updated that so it's better, although I don't know how our tagline is giving the impression we somehow support Oculus standalone, nor did the user above read any of that to begin with.

Just to be honest and help a guy out, you guys directly say it runs on anything then afterwards say "We'll try a standalone Quest version" which tells you the earlier statement wasn't totally true. "The game supports almost all VR headsets, including Oculus headsets" is somewhat misleading. It isn't really clear. Your major tagline is also "Creating an intimate anthro video game, in VR & 2D." That also implies it could run on a Quest. It takes a couple reads to figure out you don't mean it runs on a Quest alone but it needs a PC that a Quest can remote onto. Being absolutely honest, as a happy customer, you guys really need to do some rewriting. Your tagline should just say "A Windows-based adult VR game".

❤️ thank you for all the amazing work!!! Anyone else owning a Lovesense Hush? I keep having a unresponsive plug after a while and/or when resetting the scene. Also it seems to randomly reset the IP adress to default. Strangely the app on my iPhone says it’s connected (to ‘unknown’), but the plug intermittently stops interacting. Turning it off and on again helps sometimes … For a while. Anyone else that knows some workarounds?
