Watching the movie and seeing it live is 2 different experiences! Nothing will beat the Eras tour!! Loved your analysis of it 🥰 and definitely go if you get a chance… you will NOT regret it 💜

Fun fact it’s the damn season was on the original setlist until the tape era was added, but it was cut from the movie, the archer was also cut from the original theatrical release but added to the Disney+ version along with long live. It also sucks that she cut the poetry transitions from some eras. Invisible string was also the original first track for the folklore era, but she changed it to the one after she and Joe broke up. She also only had long live on the setlist for a really short amount of time which made a lot of fans upset. At the start of tour only enchanted was in the speak now era it only had one track. Then she added long live after speak now Taylor’s version was released. Then when she added ttpd to the setlist she removed the archer, this the damn season, tolerate it, and long live from the setlist.

It’s been months but I’m just now watching and wanted to point out that the guitarists standing next to her during Long Live, Amos and Paul, have been with her since 2007. It makes me sob everytime I watch this version of it. There’s a bunch of other band members that have been with her since then too and I think that tells you a lot about her as a person that they’ve stuck with her for 17 years.

Someone may have said this already, but the lights during Marjorie were cell phone flashlights - not the bracelets! I was at the Atlanta show when the entire stadium did it for the first time, like a chain reaction, and she and her dancers wept over it. It was insanely moving and became tradition since then!

I was at the Seattle show, my fav Eras were: Folklore, Lover and Speak Now. It was an amazing site, best concert I've ever been to. DnA, she has been doing these gorgeous two song mashups on the Asia leg of this tour... I don't want to ruin the combos she's done by saying what they are, but I think you'd love watching some of those on stream. They're on YT and tiktok, or we could totally make a list of links. She also did a duet with Sabrina Carpenter on the tour that is very beautiful. (Sabrina is her opener)
