The thing is, theneedledrop has not been a fan of many of Taylor's albums, not just this one. He hated Reputation and Midnights, for example. I don't know, sometimes critics come off a bit pretentious to me, because they assume there is some objective judgment on whether art is "good" or "bad" -- art is incredibly subjective!
