Roadmap and future games
🕑 Added 2025-05-31 17:58:41 +0000 UTCI thought I'd outline a roadmap for Nostalgia and Lust in case people don't know which major features I have planned for the next few months:
Separating corruption from affection.
Pervy comments on videos + certain replies in dialogue to FMC will drive corruption.
Corruption (this will drive lewd clothing, simple appearance changes, Lewd streaming videos)
The lewd stream (The AV videos idea has been merged into this) will provide a lot of additional income but it will be a limited number of total streams depending on corruption and additional videos depending on affection with landlord.
Cams inside landlord house.
More messages from FMC and landlord.
NTS dialogue switch option that will affect dialogue in scenes and diary.
New endgame challenge (haven't finalised the details and idea):
FMC has a debt to pay off in a certain number of weeks.
Work tab will provide you a small amount of income each day and you can transfer it to FMC to help her.
Collect 10000? dollars and pay it off before week 15 or she starts lewd streaming to earn more and landlord also helps her pay it off instead of you forcing a landlord ending.
More diary scenes and more animations + rework of some existing animations of course.
2 new characters (Probably the last feature I will add since it's a bit time consuming but I think it will be fun):
Male character ~5 scenes. +1 scene with Male character + FMC + landlord if her corruption is high.
Female character (maybe additional love/cheating interest with 5 scenes)
Ensuring the proper dialogue switches based on NTS, NTR, Affection and Corruption conditions will be hard but not entirely impossible. Once each feature has been implemented, I will do a final overhaul of the dialogue to be better and cohesive in tone for each scene and make it flow a bit better.
There are a few other small misc features that are on my to-do list + 3D props and basic model changes.
This will mark the end of Nostalgia and Lust once every feature has been implemented and every bug has been fixed. (If there's something I have promised and I haven't included here please remind me)
What's next?
Future games (Nothing concrete yet, ideas subject to change):
I've started outlining a simple game design doc and feature list for the next game. It will be a manga cafe simulator. Similar character archetypes but with more characters: Childhood friend FMC who works with you at the cafe, pervy manager. Supporting characters: gravure photographer who likes FMC and asks her to pose for him, Hot co-worker lady who is extremely flirty (and more characters as I think of them). I hope to have better writing and a decently slow progression of corruption in the beginning. (I think the dialogues I write are pretty weak and I need to learn to write better dialogues and interactions)
I want it to include social media profiles (think insta), messaging, gravure magazines that MC can view if FMC does photography, (Maybe AV videos idk)
What am I missing right now? A simple challenge for the MC to overcome (Like NAL has rent payment to drive her affection). I could have a simple daily gameplay loop to help customers or something but idk yet.
I have other game ideas in mind like vampire survivors or hades-esque games and also a game with exhibition but those require many monster + human models and stuff and thus require a lot more work and time. I currently neither have the funding nor the time required to pull off something at that scale by myself because I try to maintain a release schedule 2 week apart unless it's a huge feature (Of course I tend to underestimate the time required for certain stuff and sometimes delays are expected). The cafe idea will keep things cozy and grounded and fun and maybe I can tackle the larger game ideas at some other point in the future.
I've learnt a significant amount of stuff since I started working on NAL and I think the next project will be better structured and comparatively easier to maintain and update.

I'm really grateful for the love and support this game has gotten and I want it to be close to a 10/10 game when I'm finished with NAL. Maybe it's an unreasonable goal but it is something to strive towards, isn't it?

I forgot to add that the MC can get roped in as a helper too, for example taking pictures, helping out.

How about having the FMC take an interest in cosplaying (a sometimes fairly expensive hobby, speaking from experience). And having the incentive for higher pay be: rising costs of getting more expensive Cosplays/Outfits and equipment. Then you could also connect it with corruption-progression via more lewd designs, and/or even get the pervert involved, either by role playing or getting her to wear different preferences of his. You also could then include Lewd posts/Social media stuff or events regarding fans. Just a thought.

Pervy comments- Yes that's exactly the plan. I want the player to have control over the corruption. Cams - This has been my dilemma as well. I wanted to implement it after the messages stuff because I thought it would be a third person who hacks into them and sends us the link. (But it is a heavily requested feature so I don't wanna disappoint either. It would be optional through messages) NTS - I want to add it later because it will be completely optional. A single dialogue with FMC (prompted) in the beginning will basically decide what dialogues you get. You wont ever get NTS dialogues unless you specifically decide to click that option. Also it's a side thing so it wont affect the core gameplay at all. Endgame - I haven't decided on the final value yet. But you're right it can get pretty crazy.

-Pervy comments on videos- Maybe a modifier somewhere that changes if you delete them before the days over? -Cams inside landlord house .. depends how this is implemented really- as long as it's realistic in some way. Personally- as I stated before.. I'd like the landlord to be more malevolent or at least for the heroine to seem more reluctant. She gives in very easily- there is no forced videos or reason to make a forced video at the time and it wouldn't fit into her mentality after like the 3rd missed week. It would be cams she sets up herself?.. not sure.. -NTS dialogue switch .. ehhh.. This really changes the whole focus of the game I feel. It's optional which is nice but hopefully doesn't take away from polish of the NTR aspect in the game -Endgame challenge - .. Seems fine but 10000 is far too little given the current insane growth of sponsor value and whatnot. Even just paying 100 for the courses- by week 10 you'd potentially be making 2k+ a week. I think i've seen 1150 for 2 days sponsorship type things long. -More scenes (of course yes.) -2 new characters. - felt this would make a huge difference. Especially if the heroine is used as a decoy type that can ease MC into believing what he sees is the new woman at times. And if the male comes with variety of positions including those only possible with two guys and a girl and shes shared after certain levels.
