🕑 Added 2022-09-28 03:29:43 +0000 UTCHey everybody! As all of you must know, halloween is coming!!! I know the simblr community is really into halloween so I decided to team up with Caio again to work on a brand new halloween collaboration.
I created this post so that you can actively participate in the process of idealizing everything. I want to know what ideas you guys have and I would also like to know what style/theme you would like me to focus on.
I already thought of some options and I would like to know your opinion about them in the comments:
1. Focused on specific character costumes like morticia/gomez addams, catwoman, scooby doo characters etc.
2. Classical figures like fairy, mermaid, witch.
3. Casual looks that can be worn everyday but with a darker twist? (like arethabee's secret society collection or the content trillyke simblreen cc).

Definitely #3! Tho I love halloween-y collections I always end up deleting them since I just don't find enough excuses to use them in my game :(

omg YAY! i’d say a mix of 2 and 3, i’m still obsessed with the fairy costumes from last year, and witchy/vampy styles are super trendy, and both of those usually have items that can be styled casually also (corsets, mini dresses, etc) so maybe a supernatural creature/ archetype themed collection that can be a costume or dressed down 🥰🎃👻🪦😈❤️

I think option 1 would be my favorite. #3 is cool too and you may have another style in mind, but there’s so many dark academia looks out there for cc when Halloween comes around and it’s the same pleated skirts and collared shirts and dresses. It’s cute and people use it a lot, but I personally don’t need that much of the same cc lol. I think it would be fun to do something scooby inspired off of the cartoon and mix the live action (also could include the hex girls!!) Especially with daylifesims that has made Scooby hairs recently!

I think a nice mix of options one and three would be best, because there are less likely to be those out as much, but you do such wonderful work, I would love to see more of option 3 really. But that's me.

Definitely the first idea for me! I’m dying for some more “Halloween-y” clothes, but I agree with the comments that mixing it up with the 3rd idea would be cool. I have in mind like a “Disney bounding“ kinda thing where the general vibes and color match a character but the clothes are not exactly costumes/cosplay.

I definitely think option 3 because when you throw a Halloween party in sims 4, you can’t really chose your sims’ outfits. They kind of come dressed up randomly so I feel like I wouldn’t use specific costumes as much. I’d love some darker theme clothes because I think I’d tend to use the items more xx

I think a combination of 1 and 3 would be perfect! Making it modernized versions of Halloween costumes that can be utilized like everyday. Like making a catsuit type of full body item but you can add an accessory to it to become catwoman etc.

i would looove a set that is regular clothing like someone said an updated daphne and iconic costumes that are also outfits?? idk if that makes sense but overall category 3

Omg this is exciting!!! I think that fairies would be a really fun theme that the sims community is always hyped about. And that could also be a good theme to include some items that can be worn as everyday/casual pieces! I think that whole vibe is really in style right now!! Whatever you guys do is going to be amazing (as usual), I can t wait to see it 😭😭
