Not only that, though, Gavin also teaches us about ways one might treat the act of friendship that would be a healthy and mutually beneficial prospect. Of course it seems Laura and I are broken people, in very different ways, but even some of these ideas will even work for those of us with shielded or absent hearts.

My fiancée and I have date/movie night as well as Sunday Adventures and Science Sunday where we cut out time to do something regularly but also make it special, just like Gavin said. It's all about intentionality.
