Might Be Time For Surgery For Me
🕑 Added 2021-11-21 15:31:08 +0000 UTCHey hey little monkeys!! Soooo you might have noticed I’ve been radio silent for about a week and a half, here’s the scoop….
My GERD (reflux disorder) has been flaring up with a vengeance the last couple weeks, to the point where I’m waking up in the night choking on stomach acid. I’m nauseous and sick all day long despite being on medication. I’m bloody MISERABLE, and so done with it.
So, I’m finally gonna bite the bullet and go to a specialist to probably have the “big scope” done. The one where they put you to sleep and look all the way down your esophagus. I have a birth defect where my stomach sphincter (which is supposed to close and hold acid in) doesn’t close all the way. And I think it may finally be time to look at surgery to correct it. I can’t keep living this way.
Prayers and good vibes would be much appreciated and welcomed over the next few weeks as I work to end this battle with GERD once and for all. It is the reason I have voice problems and am constantly hoarse, and I want soooo badly to just be healthy again. Thanks for listening, much love.

Prayers, hugs & much needed love 💕 sent your way Ben so that everything is still working properly, I understand about GERD cuz I have it also, just haven’t experienced waking up in the middle of the night with what you mentioned and God I hope that I never will! Just remain positive, think positive and remain hopeful that everything is doing what it is suppose to be doing and if not, just remember there is amazing/awesome doctors & nurses hell maybe you will get a hot nurse to take care of you huh Ben, “ok that last part was suppose to make you laugh I hope that it did!” Anyway just remain calm, hopeful & positive! Only you can know when you have reached the time that you need to proceed with surgery. If you are there do what you need to do. Sending positive vibes for a speedy recovery. Keep a positive attitude, you can do this.
