The beesâ instincts indicated that they should complete the Fourth of the Seventhâs golem solely using wax from breeze or nomadic bees. The slime queen, the First of the Fifthâs Seventh Daughter apparently, could build wax golems incredibly quickly but only with her own wax, which was actually a kind of solidified honey slime. Belissar wasnât sure if or how it was different from regular beeswax, but it was certainly heavier than the breeze wax so they decided it would be best not to mix it in.
As such, construction was limited to Belissarâs spell bees and however many breeze and nomadic bees the Fourth of the Seventhâs hive had raised. Still, the Seventh Daughter was happy to share about her own construction, noting how using her slime honey naturally imbued the wax with her mana. Belissar took that to heart and started having the spell bees merge into the wax as they placed it.
Belissar could only work on the golem for a short time each day before he started running out of mana, however, so the work came to an end fairly quickly. Belissar glanced at the queens with him and nodded to himself. This would be a good opportunity to start on a new project.
âHey, Fourth of the Seventh, First of the Fifth, could you come here for a moment? I want to show you something.â
The two queens danced immediately salutes and flew to his side. He looked up at the grove overhead and the Bee Apartment up in its canopy. He focused on the apartment in particular and the Tower responded to his will.
Bee Apartment Upgrades:
- Swap to Bee Barracks (Cost: 25 DP)
- Expand Size (Cost: 100 DP or 25 if materials provided)
- Change material to stone (Cost: 200 DP or 50 if materials provided, requires sufficient support)
- Boost honeycomb production (Cost: 50 DP)
- Boost growth for inhabitants (Cost: 50 DP)
- Boost productivity for inhabitants (Cost: 50 DP)
- Boost coordination for inhabitants (Cost: 50 DP)
Now that he had acquired butcher bees for the Death room, Belissar turned his attention to the room feature upgrades. Since the Tower had plenty of new options and many of the hives had consolidated into apartments, he felt that now was a good time to spend his DP on existing features. He read out the upgrade list for the two queens after explaining what was going on.
âSo, I was thinking we start with one upgrade for each apartment, barracks, house, or nest to see how strong they are and make sure we can upgrade everyoneâs. Iâd like each dwelling to decide which upgrade would be most useful to them. Could you two let the other queens know and ask them to start thinking about what their home needs? Ah, that includes you both as well.â
Belissar waited with a smile as the Fourth of the Seventh began zipping around him while the First of the Fifth froze solid, and then both joined in a âKing is best king!â dance. He knew that was coming, so he simply enjoyed their joy until they calmed down enough to confirm. A moment later, both queens were off and soon the towerâs communers were spreading word to all the hives.
Belissar himself made his way to the battle meadow. He explained the situation to the Firstborn, Beero, and the other queens there before checking on the Firstbornâs Bee Barracks. As he expected, the available upgrades werenât the same as for the Bee Apartment, so he read out their options for them.
Bee Barracks Upgrades:
- Swap to Bee Apartment (Cost: 25 DP)
- Expand Size (Cost: 100 DP or 25 if materials provided)
- Change material to wood (Cost: 100 DP or 25 if materials provided)
- Boost growth for inhabitants (Cost: 50 DP)
- Boost coordination for inhabitants (Cost: 50 DP)
- Boost structural integrity (Cost: 50 DP)
Belissar gave the queens some space as they began a dance off on the various upgrades, only to find Beero swaying about in the air.
âBeero? Is something the matter.â
Beeroâs wings picked up at being addressed.
âKingâŠBeero too?â
Belissar smiled at her.
âOf course, we consider you one of the queens too.â
However, Beero did not break out into the expected âKing is best king!â dance. Belissar blinked as, instead, Beero danced a salute.
âWill try best.â
Belissar gave her nod.
âThanks, Beero. Youâre already doing great.â
After a bit, the battle meadow queens made their decisions and the Firstborn flew over to relay them.
âKing, have decided. Want growth boost, replenish losses and raise evolved soldiers faster.â
Belissar smiled and selected the upgrade. He then turned to Beero, who reluctantly began her dance.
âWant coordination. Need help to lead hive of fallen.â
Belissar upgraded her hive as well. As the mana of the Tower surged through both barracks, the bees broke out into the âAmazing, incredible!â and âKing is best king!â dances.
***
Belissar stepped out into the Orchard only to find both the Fourth of the Seventh and the First of the Fifthâs First Daughter zipping circles around him. While he certainly understood their joy, neither of them were actually conveying their choice to him. It ended up being one of the Fourth of the Seventhâs communer who did so.
âKingâŠqueens want coordination.â
Belissar made an amused smile as he completed the upgrade, which only caused the two queens to pick up speed.
After that, Belissar made his way over to the carpenter bees and checked on their nest blocks.
Belissarâs Nest Block Upgrades:
- Expand Size (Cost: 100 DP or 25 if materials provided)
- Change material to stone (Cost: 50 DP or 12 if materials provided)
- Boost growth for inhabitants (Cost: 25 DP)
There werenât as many upgrades available for this one, so the decision was straightforward. With Niobeeâs help, Belissar determined the carpenter bees liked the growth boost. He had made four of the nest blocks for the carpenter bees and upgraded them all. The carpenters present zipped around him happily.
***
Belissar had a bit of a surprise when he checked the chromatic beesâ home in the Fairy Grove next to the Orchard.
Belissarâs Beehouse Upgrades:
- Expand to Bee Apartment (Cost: 100 DP or 25 if materials provided)
- Expand to Bee Barracks (Cost: 100 DP or 25 if materials provided)
- Change material to stone (Cost: 50 DP or 12 if materials provided)
- Boost honeycomb production (Cost: 25 DP)
- Boost growth for inhabitants (Cost: 25 DP)
- Boost Wild Mana absorption (Cost: 25 DP)
- Reduce Wild Mana absorption (Cost: 25 DP)
Belissar shrugged and let the queen, the Fourth of the Seventhâs Second Daughter, know about the extra options. He could only guess that it had to do with the fairy circle and the chromatic evolution. He tried to focus in on the option.
Wild Mana Absorption
- Beehouse will be more permeable to wild mana
- Inhabitants will absorb more wild mana
- Wild mana may cause unpredictable effects or mutations
ThatâŠseemed roughly in line with what Belissar had thought? For now, he read out the description.
The Second Daughter zipped about just like her mother.
âThat one! Get to see new things in own home! Amazing, incredible!â
Belissar chuckled. He was slightly worried about the whole unpredictable effects thing, but who was he to deny the bees what they wanted? Besides, the Fairy Grove had been nothing but helpful for him, so he decided to put aside his suspicions.
***
Belissar then went about and upgraded every beeâs home in the Tower. The First of the Fifth picked coordination, while most of the others like the Third of the Sixth and Fourth of the Eighth picked growth. The First of the Fifthâs Seventh Daughter surprised him by selecting honeycomb production, maybe to help with her honey slime?
The bumblebees picked growth, no surprise due to the Bee Nestsâ limited selection. Belissar smiled as the big, fuzzy bees rubbed against him. He was just walking out of the bumblebee meadow when he paused and tilted his head. He wasnât sure, but he could swear that the flowers seemed bigger than usual.
But his task was not complete so he shrugged and moved on, arriving at the karnuq floor. Velebee came out to greet him, swaying about as Belissar explained his purpose.
âHive-BuilderâŠimproving hives? Velebeeâs too?â
Belissar nodded with a smile.
âOf course! Youâre one of my queens too.â
Velebee danced around happily until Niobee helped her figure out what to pick. She ended up selecting growth.
Then, finally, Belissar came to the karnuqâs hives. The First of the Ninth danced before him.
âHoneycomb production!â
Belissar blinked. Now that was a surprise.
âYou need more honey?â
The First of the Ninth danced the negative.
âHive-Tender gives mana, helps brood grow! Want to give more honey so will have more mana!â
Belissar slowly began to smile. It looked like Paisijikâs Blessing of the Beekeeper wasnât just for gathering honey.
And so, Belissar upgraded each and every bee home in the Tower.
Authorâs Note:
Oh look, DP upgrades! Itâs only been like two hundred chapters or something since they were introduced. Iâd be upset at Belissar for not improving the beesâ homes like they deserve, but he was also using the DP to get more bees previously, so I suppose weâll forgive him. As long as the bees are happy!
Anyways!
How will the bees react to palaces that are even more magical? Is letting even more wild mana into a hive a good idea? Will Belissar give the bees the homes they deserve? Tune in next time, to find out!

Plus i don't think those upgrade are one time things they seem to be able to be taken multiple times.

Yeah their are the apairy apartments which probably have about 15-20 of those, and the 10ish (cant remember expect numbers) for bees that might have been made for the specialized bees like fire, and darkness, and light. And theirs the 8 bees 4 each for the bumble queens and the carpenters. But the bee army only consists of like 2 different barracks the memorial, and the other one all of those bees moved in together. Plus alot of the apairy hives moved in together and not alot of queens good out on their own.

He built queens hives over time. and there is far more than 6 hives built at this point. And is about 200 to get all the features for a hive. But yeah thinking how expensive new monster options are probably is more affordable to start upgrading every hive.

Add a stones or two outside the tower as monuments to his fallen village... whit his and nibobee and veltrabee names on it?
mly85lc
Since MC is doing a wax golem(s) .. how about on that is shape like his teacher?
mly85lc
Maybe local hunger respective will come nok he's tower door for overly disturbing behaviour..
mly85lc
Maybe it's because This is bee gods First Tower/Anchor to world and that give it's moments more weight.. and flower one just though that bee qod has ohter place off secondary worship among humans and this at most her first main patreon Tower.
mly85lc
So... why has flower one give eny advice to Tower keeper how get more this room features? Or how best use them? Is there something ohter unusual like shades activity going on Tower? Is there some concussion doing room uprage back to back..

Thanks for the chapter. Loved it. Nice, belissar went on an upgrading spree. Lol. For the hive!

I mean is it really expensive compared to a new option? He spent 50 mana (maximum) on each hive/nest/house/apartment, he has which with a rough estimate is about 40-50 features to upgrade at most. So it probably cost him at maximum(if he spent 50 Dp on 50 upgrades it adds up to 2500 DP but it was probably in thr range of 1500 - 2000 DP compared to a new monster choice that is 3000 DP if I remembered correctly or a feature choice that is 1000 DP, while yes it is expensive it's comparable to everything else in price. Plus these are detrimined outcomes the others are all a gacha spin.

Random idea for the next level Hive from Barracks > Hive Fortress. Walls are stone with metal ribs and sharpen blade/spike on joints and around entrance. Include doors the bees can shut. An outer shell that has places for archer and sprayer types can fire from safely.

Thanks for the chapter! Ah the DP upgrades for Beehouses are finally coming in! And he let them pick their own upgrades a very him way, by letting the bees deside! Plus it seems the Seed in the bumble meadow is growing well. Plus it seems we learned a bit more about the beekeeper blessing, nice to see those queens liking being kept by the kurnuq. Their are two things that have peaked my interest though. The wild mana upgrade, seems like it would allow the beehouse itself to become chromatic Seventh daughter picking honey production, is turning her Beehouse into a slime wax golem factory! Sadly it probably not effect the wax golems themselfs, but will only allow for more to be made. She does probably have alot of her hive inside the Beehouse itself right? She didn't completely move he hive to the wax golem she made right? She just like walking around in it right? She hasn't completely moved to it it's just a car for her and her gatherers right?

On one hand bonuses bonuses we could use more. On the other hand.. yikes that price. Per hive that is expensive and it goes up the more expansion happens. Though maybe we should research this. More efficient ways to upgrade the hives.
Beeees!
These bonuses are really starting to stack, I can only imagine how sweet thier honey must be
