I vote for just kill him. He is not worth leaving to suffer. Besides bees would have to watch him and that would be a waste of their time.

I'm also not terribly worried about the normal soldiers - the standard bee soldiers are the size of a hand, if I recall, which is pretty hard to hit with a sword. Especially when it has the full agility of a normal bee. I'm more concerned about the Bumblebee soldiers - they're very large targets, and prefer to charge in. Seems easy to set one of them on fire, which is a fast way to make anything panic.

Valid worries. It also depends on how belissar handles it. If he lets them come to him they'll have to go through the tunnels and maybe even the lava room before fighting the bee army. The would be in a bad position to defend themselves at that point. Especially if the bee sprayers can weigh the wyvern down and maybe infect one more two with the maddening honey for some fun friendly fire. Lol

It occurs to me that we don't know Ruckanos' force distribution. One Knight captain with a full blessing, one augur, himself who, if I recall, was likely sent on the subjugation with magical gear... While I don't doubt the bees will devastate the invading force, I'm wondering how bad the damage will be, and whether the hunger will capitalize on the weakened bee force.

Seriously tho, I wanna see what the God's reaction to the augurs offering will be now? They're glorified delivery boys and deserve no other fate then to be fertilizer for the gardens. They don't have a clue what's coming for them.

Everytime I read Ruckanos, I see cuckoos instead. You know, that parasitic bastard of a bird? Yeah, no mercy, kill the home stealer. The soldiers don't NEED to die, but the cuckoo must be killed lest it inflict yet more harm.

Indeed, the one thing Belissar is missing knowledge about the Tower, and maybe one day with the augur help Belissar can talk to the goddess of dees and the other guys I guess.

On the other hand... I'm guessing the augur would be a useful addition to the tower. Someone able to interact/contact the Divine at will and request advice, and who likely has a higher understanding of tower mechanics, is almost critical at this point.

I'd bet the houses in Belissar's original village were not supplied, but built by the original inhabitants.

Oh, he still getting a house just not a good one, and he will be watched 24 by the bees and karnuq, force to grow fruit and vegetables for the tower and the resident like his father did to Belissar and his village.

On the one hand, the idea of this little turd living to cause trouble another day gives me the willies. On the other hand, having him live outside the tower, in a field of grass and trees, with no knowledge or understanding of how to build a house, no creature comforts... It gives me satisfaction.
