🕑 Added 2024-03-05 17:09:55 +0000 UTCHard at work on the next thing (Gantz part 1, which doubles as my 9000 subscriber celebration) and, without too much elaboration, there's no way this is going to be ready in even 2 weeks.
The sheer amount of research and scripting that's going into this is second only to that iceberg video I did.
So right now I'm targeting the 25th of March for the patron release with that Friday being the public release.
You...you will see why when it comes out.

SWEET GANTZ! Also congrats on 9k!!. And I've said it before: Take your time, life is more important than work. I've seen too many good creators burned out by the algorithm. Excellent title choice, I stumbled upon the manga a few years back and was really into it for a bit. Well, let me say though I think the series really suffers in the later arcs. Which is funny because if maybe they were stand alone it wouldn't feel that way but after the First arc setting such a high bar, it's hard to know where to go. Secondly, I am not genre savvy enough to know, maybe you or your other patreons know: What is the name of the genre where, like gantz, RPG style stats and abilities are assigned through some kind of interface menu? Because there have been a TON of them in the last decade or so, and also I have seen this genre enter into fanfic, manga, manwah and even meta-referenced in light novels (interfaception lol!) I mean, it is likely a natural outcropping of video games being a primary form of entertainment for a generation and a half now, especially MMO and JRPGs. Just, I find it interesting that those non story aspects of games would become genre tropes in other fictions. Gantz plays it somewhat realistic where the interface is a crazy tech machine, but the rewards and how they are affected are what seem the most fantastical But for other genre titles like most of the recent isekai, the interface is diegetic and in some cases (I can't remember the manga I saw it in) an actual world-interacting object with artifact like properties (i.e. destroying any material that the interface is summoned within, making it a weapon itself). That said, can't wait till your new content Mr. Owl, though take your time and don't stress it please. Happiness, prosperity and health to the entire Owl Family parliment.
