After the moving company delayed getting my stuff to me, I became behind on my Patreon obligations by 3 weeks. This was furthered to a month behind after unpacking and moving in. Then I got hit with some pretty devastating news in my family that ruined my focus and made it very hard to catch up. It's a bad look to be behind, so I'm going to make the difficult decision of pausing my Patreon for a month so I can get nice and caught up with everything before resuming.
In short, this means that
-You will get a month's access to my Patreon for free
-You will not be kicked from your slot, nor will you be charged for remaining on your slot (Especially regarding Comet / Shooting Star / Stardust Tiers)
-I'm pausing next month (August) to finish all of July's rewards - You will receive everything that you've already paid for!
-There will be no Comet / Shooting Star / Stardust Tier rewards for August, since no charges will occur.
-Charging will resume on September 1st, as will all normal Patreon rewards and activity! :)
It's just a bad look for me to be behind so much and to need to struggle so hard to catch up due to recent events. It'll look so much better if I start after a month with a nice clean slate, with nothing owed and a bit less stress :)

Thank you all! I'm so sorry I have to do this. It's been 2.5 years with no real delays and I'm sore that I have to break my good streak, but I just don't want to keep being behind. Recent events really put me behind, I would much rather do right by all of you and catch up with my queue before charging you for any more Patreon dues.

All is more than good, your patreon is the most active that I know so far and I know that it's not to take a break but everyone deserve the right to take a break for holidays <3

If you think about it, I'm still getting art in August and the "delay" already happened, so really it's like everything normal from today onward! Really though i already said my bit in the discord, this whole Patreon art system is cool to me because it means a reliable source of art i don't have to search for and negotiate socially with new artists over. A single month gap is nuthin to be worried about! Give yourself a break once in a while!

To be honest, I wish more creators handled backlog like this than by just digging a deeper hole. You're doing the right and honorable thing. Taking on a prepaid artistic obligation (commission) is a form of taking on debt, and the way to get out of debt is not to keep borrowing against the future.

Eh none of it's really your fault, honestly I've been just having fun chilling on the discord server. I'm just saying, I'm like a bad luck charm for all patreons it feels like, haha.
None of it is your fault so no need to be sorry...at least as far as I'm concerned. It will be better for you to be able to take your time and not be stressing so much to do more and more to try and catch up anyway. Take care of yourself first :)
