Sure, but before that, please make sure you installed the latesr version 4.2.0 and TanksMods Mod Central v1.2.0 and not some older version, 99% of the cases that is the problem. If still having problems afterward, let me know.

Hi, install TanksMods Mod Central v1.2.0 too. Also, make sure scripted mods optiom is enabled in game and script files are no deeper than 1 subfolder in your Sims 4 Mods folder.

Some of the movies are marked as premiere movies, which means they will be by default hidden and show up during the respective "Watch Premiere" event. Check with the calendar. The option can be disabled in the ItsMovieTime Settings

Apologies for the late reply! I keep updating the same posts over and over, so in the case of combined movie collections, download the last part of the of the zipped files as that contains the latests released movies. I hope this helps?

Hi Danada. I cant see on my phone which tier you picked, but please note that sfw and nsfw tiers are separate tiers, and im guessing you chose one of the two, which are mid tiers. In order to have the content from both tiers, consider switching to full membership tier.

does anyone know if the movies from https://simfileshare.net/folder/234074/ by Astercholik for this mod still work with version 4.1.0? it says on the folder name (only to 4.0.x up) but I don't know if since it has that up qualifier in there, and since even with the official its movie time movies they appear to say they're updated for 4.0.1+ and later. oh and does its movie time 4.1.0 work with the newest update to the sims 4? sorry for the questions, I'm getting back into the sims 4 after not playing since mid 2023, and need to redo all my mods so they're up to date.

Need more information. Version of ItsMovieTIme, version of TanksMods Mod Central, version of your game, etc. Check also tanksmods.log file in your Sims 4 folder for any warning/errors, and let me know.

Did you install TanksMods Mod Central (link in the Requirements in the above post)? That needs to be installed too in order for ItsMovieTime to work. So, its ItsMovieTime, TanksMods Mod Central and a few movies. Thats all. Also, make sure that files ending with .ts4script can not go deeper than 1 folder in your Sims 4 Mods folder, while .package files can go up to 5 folders. If everything is set, you should be able to see a tanksmods.log file in your Sims 4 folder, open it and see if there is any warning/error inside (it will tell you whats missing).

Yes, custom channel injector code breaks other injectors and needs updating, but the modder doesnt seem to be active anymore. I wrote to her like a year ago about the issue. Anyway, i have found a way around it, and it should be available in the next update.

If everything is installed correctly, you should see a TanksMods.log file in your sims 4 folder. Open it and see if there is any warning, and let me know.

Purchasing movies is not necessary, as they will appear in the movie list straight away once installed. But please note that some of the movies are marked as premiere movies, and they are "hidden" by default (if you have CustomHolidays mod installed too with the Movie Premiere feature ON) and will create a "Watch Premiere Movie" event in the calendar once installed. And only after the respective event is over, will the movie be visible in the movie list with the rest of the other movies.

Hey bud, you need to install Zerbu's Custom Preferences (the last one) as its a requirement now for custom preferences like Movie Genre. This due to the changes EA made, so Zerbus mod is more like a global mod for custom preferences. You will find the link to Zerbu in the IMT description page.

I did 50/50 method and finally I found that when I removed your mod I was able to go into CAS again. Can you help, please?

Hi Tank! I love this mod so much, thank you for all you do. Since the new Lovestruck release and the lastest update I'm having problems with this mod. I played the game with no CC's in the MOD folder just this mod and the CAS isn't loading properly when I go to edit a family. I also get UIException errors. I think it has something to do with the CAS selection which has been removed, you can't select favourite movies anymore.

The premiere event toggle is turned off so I don't think it's that, plus I've had the movie in the folder since you released it (Harry Potter). I might have to reinstall the movies. Thank you so much anyway 😊

Uhmm, some show up and some not? If thats the case, im guessing its because some of the movies are premiere movies, and when installed, at first they will create a custom event for the specific movie, and the movie wont be visible in the picker till the event is over. You may disable the premiere feature for any movie category or altogether, if you want to see the newly installed movie right away.

Thank you I was able to see it. I’ve noticed that I’m not able to use the mod. Every time I try to go watch a movie nothing shows up. Did I install it wrong? It started working on its own at the theater but not at the houses.

There is a new Cinema menu in your sims phone, you start from there. You will also need either zerbu's venue changes mod or the customized basemental venue list attached to the mod page. It works as any another business, except its managed through the phone (unless you have EP01 as well, it would then be possible to manage it from business panel too, once you have bought the business).

I just wanted to pop in and say I'm loving the Movie Festival! It's a blast watching those silly sims root and cheer during the movies and chat with each other. Thank you for such a fun mod, Tank!

Hi. The festival is fully automatic, so no need to do anything on your side to activate it. All the required objects will spawn automatically once you go to the festival. Try to keep an eye during Mondays at 3 AM, because thats usually the time when it gets marked on your calendar. There is also a notification that pops up when the festival is up.

Hello! Can you explain please how does The Sims Film Festival work? Whether I have to do something to activate it or no? Because now i can’t see any information in my calendar, there are only Movie Premier holidays. I've put all the objects to watch movies in Magnolia Blossom (screen and chairs) and I also tried to find some objects of the festival, but I've found only the statue and there is no shop. So, how does it work? Or is it possible that i can't see it because of some mod conflict?

Hi! Can you confirm that you have at least one movie installed? Because during once the lot loads up, the mod tries to locate any installed movie and play it on the lot TVs. Im guessing that might be the case. Also, if possible, please upload the Exception file on discord, so i can have a deeper look at it.

Ok, i believe i have fixed this, one of the female tshirts wasnt properly tagged. Make sure to delete localthumbcache from Sims 4 directory after updating. Although i have tested it multiple times, let me know if its fixed on your side too.

It can happen after the sims stop watching, so it might happen at any time. The movies are on average 10 mins long, as they are movie clips.

a 10% chance of getting a like or dislike if they watch the entire movie? or can it happen even after watching for only a few minutes? Also, how long are the movies? are they actually the full movies!?

Hey Stephanie! There are some criteria for the Sim to watch the full movie, and most of the time, they dont watch a full movie (stressed, motives near failure, feeling miserable or bored, etc). You can use the Turn On function, to play a movie and then have the Sim watch it. This way, if the Sim does stop watching it, the TV will stay on. Also, there is a 10% chance that they will like or dislike a movie genre after watching it. I tried to stick to the original game-play.
