It's been a long journey to get here, but I hope you saw why I've been in the discord hoping y'all would react to this for months. I would say this and Rascal are what I would consider the peak of romance anime. (as much as I still love Dangers, Horimiya, and Kaguya-sama)

This shouldn't be a one and done, but there hasn't been a season 2 announcement yet so here's hoping. The manga is very good and has a lot of content for a second season for sure. Loved seeing your reaction to this.

I immediately binged the manga after this and it's so fucking peak. Rintaro and Kaoruko are just the most adorably sweet couple ever. I hope we get a season 2 soon because there is so much more to see. It's also nice seeing another romance series actually get through a confession in one series. It's so rare and so damn good every time it happens. I'd take a thousand Horimiyas or this over Dress Up Darling or Kaguya-sama. I get that the build up can be fun, but sometimes you just want to see a real natural progression and actually get to enjoy them being together. This series is going to get even more fun once the relationship properly starts.
