"Men," she muttered with a hint of exasperation. "Which bedroom are you taking? I'll hang them up there."
"I was just going to use this as my room," I said. "My grandmother's going to furnish it, maybe a daybed or something."
"Not the master bedroom?" Morgan asked.
"I was going to let Karen have it if she wants to live here," I said. "There's a three-quarter bathroom in here. You ladies can split up the ones upstairs."
"There's not any fresh bedding for that king bed, anyway," Marie said. "I didn't want to take any of Mrs. Jenson's. I just brought a queen set from the apartment. That'll get you through the weekend."
"The northwest room upstairs is the one the Osbornes took a bed out of," I said. "That'll be good enough for now."
The northwest bedroom was also the one that butted up against the garage attic, meaning it didn't have windows on that wall. There were two facing the street. The other three upstairs bedrooms had windows on two sides, but I didn't really care for the view of the house on the east side and the west side was just the garage and alley with the back of Arlene's house beyond. The front rooms overlooked the street with the back two overlooking the backyard.
"I'll take care of it, Daddy," Marie said, turning for the door.
"Thank you, baby," I said as she left with my clothes.
With the little waif gone, I pulled the little elf in for one last smooch.
"I would appreciate it if you don't mention the money to the other girls," I said once we were alone. "I'd like to have an accurate count first and I'd like to tell everyone all together. This isn't something we can let get out. Every girl in town would try to take a shot at me if they thought they could get a payday out of it."
"More like every girl in the state," Morgan snorted. "And more than a few boys. But I get your point. You've got too many girlfriends already."
"Just so we understand each other," I grinned.
"We may have to get together for lunch again tomorrow," she smirked. "I can't promise I can stay quiet very long. This is too juicy. My boyfriend's a billionaire!"
"You can either keep quiet or start looking for a new boyfriend," I said.
"You don't fight fair," Morgan mock pouted.
"I shouldn't have to fight at all," I sighed, "especially about this."
"I'll be good," she swore. "I've loved you for too long to let you go now."
"Love you, too," I admitted.
With one more kiss, Morgan departed, again advising me to get in the shower. Which again involved scrubbing down with flowery-scented ladies soap. I really need to get some manly stuff in here.
I made sure to wash my face and was shampooing when Marie returned. She gathered up the clothes I'd worn today, hanging the windbreaker on a chair, emptying the pockets of my jeans and setting the items on the desk. I was just glad she thought to bring me a fresh pair of boxers.
"Is there room for two in there?" she asked with a naughty grin from the doorway.
"I haven't tested it yet," I said. "Probably be a tight squeeze."
"You seem to enjoy it when I squeeze you tight," she smirked. "You sure fill me with come when I do."
"Behave, young lady," I commanded while rinsing the suds out of my hair.
"I just thought you might like to fill me up while I'm still ovulating," she said, smirking even harder.
"Let me make it through tonight first," I said. "If I remember correctly from my biology class, we still have some time to work with. The main thing is the earlier conception occurs, the more likely the odds of having a girl. If you want a boy, we're better off waiting a few days."
"Why's that?" Marie asked.
"Has to do with how fast the sperm swim," I said. "The ones carrying a Y chromosome, which makes boys, are faster but don't go very far. The ones with an X chromosome, which makes girls, are slower but go farther. Kinda like sprinters versus distance runners. The closer the ovum is to the Fallopian tube, the farther the sperm has to travel to find it. The boy sperm die out before they get there. The farther away from the Fallopian tube the egg gets, the better their chances of winning the race."
Marie looked like she didn't really believe me, but Grandpa swore by the idea. When artificial insemination became more widely spread in the cattle industry, he learned earlier application resulted in more heifers. That gave him more options in his breeding program. The vast majority of bull calves were castrated and put on feed to be fattened up for slaughter. The more times that happened, the more times mountain oysters wound up on the menu.
Such agricultural thoughts helped me stay somewhat under control. Visions of impregnating the little waif almost had me pulling her into the shower to give it a try, but I'd be better off if I was fully charged for my date. If Elise got cold feet, then Marie was an acceptable fallback.
God, I was such a Chad.
After rinsing off, I pulled on the boxers as soon as I was dry enough just in case Marie really did want to have a go. The toilet kit she provided included a disposable razor, which was good enough to handle the limited fuzz on my face. Marie then had me sit in one of the dining chairs as she dealt with my hair, applying enough goop to control my cowlick. I'm sure it was just my imagination that she seemed to keep a boob pressed on me as she worked, but we managed to behave ourselves.
"You'd better go get dressed, Daddy," she said, finishing up with one last little dent in my shoulder. "Your clothes are hanging on the doorknob of that bedroom."
"Thank you, baby," I said, rewarding her with a little smooch.
Marie reminded me to brush my teeth, which I should do before going upstairs to dress, and headed back to Arlene's with my dirty clothes. After finishing up at the sink, I stepped out of the office wearing just the boxers. I wasn't expecting anyone else to be in the house.
"Surely he's going to wear more than that for his date," Jan snorted from the couch, causing me to freeze like a deer caught in headlights.
"Marie put his clothes upstairs," Arlene smirked from beside her bestie. "I think she wanted us to get a good look. But it's the wrong time of year for such an outfit. Maybe we can get him to wear it again next summer when the weather warms up. And don't call me Shirley."
"Ladies," I said in greeting once brain function resumed, grateful they were the only ones here. I was just lucky it wasn't Grandma and Meredith. Or any of the other guests from lunch.
"Go put some clothes on," the redheaded goddess commanded. "We don't need the distraction."
"He can distract me like that anytime," Jan giggled, sounding eerily like Bethany, as I hurried up the stairs.
The clothes were hanging right where Marie said they would be with a belt already threaded through the loops of the slacks. There was also a pair of loafers with socks sitting on the carpet next to the door. The remaining bed had been made up with what looked like a heavy enough blanket for the cooler weather.
I really needed to make time for Marie tomorrow. She deserved a little reward. She took such good care of me.
The slacks and shirt went on without a hitch and I sat on the bed to pull on the socks. I noticed the mattress was pretty firm. I'd have to get all the girls' opinions on that. Kacie's bed had a softer mattress, but hers was one of the few beds I'd spent time in. I'd slept pretty well in Arlene's and Jan's beds, but I think that had more to do with being worn out after taking care of the regular occupants than the surface. There was that afternoon in Bethany's room a couple of months ago, but I hadn't really been paying attention to anything but the little blonde.
I'd never even entered any of the other girls' bedrooms and really didn't want to chance it. Staci's parents might not make too much of a fuss after letting her sleep over at the apartment following the Homecoming dance. I could only imagine Mrs. Ensberry's reaction if I tried to go into Morgan's and I hadn't gotten that involved with the rest, though Elise had been more than willing to take me to hers that time we studied Chemistry together at her house.
If I did wind up having lunch with them all tomorrow, I'd better advise them to work out some kind of schedule. I didn't need all of them in my house expecting a turn. At least not until football was over.
Dressed and shod, I headed back downstairs. My wallet, keys and such were still on the desk.
But first, I had to undergo inspection.
"I guess this will do for a high school date," Arlene said as she and Jan made sure the shirt hung correctly. "It wouldn't hurt to wear a jacket on such occasions, though. Where are you kids going?"
"I haven't been told," I said. "I didn't even know I was going out with Elise until less than an hour ago."
"Well, prepare yourself," the redhead said. "I think she's about to take the plunge tonight. She was quick to volunteer to step in when Jean voiced concern about Morgan seeing you. Lynnette said she'd keep Dick distracted for the evening."
"Yes, ma'am," I mumbled, wondering how many people were involved in this conspiracy.
"Just let her set the pace," Jan chimed in. "I know she's done a little more with you than Beth did before she bagged you, but if Elise intends to stay in the group ... well, a girl's first time is supposed to be special. Just try not to wreck her like you have the rest of us."
"Yes, ma'am," I repeated, again thinking these women said such things for the sole purpose of inflating my ego.
"And if there's anything left of you," Arlene purred, "you've got a midnight curfew. I want to cuddle before we leave Monday for our next trip."
"Yes, ma'am," I grinned. "Ya know, you're welcome to come over here if you need a cuddle."
"I prefer not to sleep in someone else's wet spot," she shot back. "Besides, I'm used to my own bed. I'd like to use it as much as I can before spending another week on the road."
Somewhere in there, the two goddesses drew me to sit between them on the couch. Marshawn was right — this thing was comfy. I could only imagine the linebacker's reaction at my being sandwiched between the two women.
"Now that we've got you alone," the blonde cooed in my ear as she pressed her fabulous tits against me, immediately setting off alarm bells, "tell me how you went from being the wealthiest teenager in town to supposedly one of the wealthiest people in the country. Arlene said you can buy a hundred ranches like the one she made an offer on and still be stinkin' rich, but she wouldn't say just how rich. So, how rich are you now?"
Well, hell. I was going to have to tell them sooner or later. I guess I should count myself lucky that I'd made it through an entire week without being asked such a question.
"It's hard to say," I hedged, earning scowls from both sides. "I'm still waiting for Mr. Patterson to give me an accurate figure."
"You seemed to have a pretty exact figure last week," Arlene snapped.
"That was pretty much the best-case scenario," I said. "Mr. Patterson has people authenticating everything."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Jan asked.
I took a deep breath and told the tale of what was found in the barn on the 320 last week. Four trailers, potentially 158 pallets of cash, a Mexican angel.
"If it was all hundreds and it's not counterfeit, it'd come to something over $10 billion," I admitted.
The blonde gasped in shock and the redhead smirked in satisfaction at her BFF's reaction.
"Mr. Patterson had it taken to his building," I continued. "He said he'd try to have it counted by the end of the year. I haven't had a chance to ask him how things are going."
"Then why did you tell me to offer the asking price for the Utah property?" Arlene demanded. "I don't have that much liquid cash, let alone enough for the remodeling."
"That won't be a problem," I said, fighting to suppress the evil grin starting to spread across my face. "Mr. Patterson has extended me a line of credit while the money's counted. It'll be enough to cover the purchase and remodeling."
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Arlene asked.
"We found something besides four trailers full of cash," I said, feeling the grin become a little more evil. "Something that can't be counterfeited."
"Quit teasing," Jan snapped, practically bouncing in her seat. "What else did you find?"
I cast quick glances to either side of me. The two goddesses looked like little kids waiting to attack the tree on Christmas morning. I couldn't fight it anymore. The grin won. I didn't care how evil it might look.
"Gold," I whispered, "500,000 kilograms of it. Mr. Patterson said it'd be almost $20 billion based on last week's closing price. I haven't looked to see if the price went up or down this week."
"YOU'RE WORTH $30 BILLION?!?!?!" Arlene shrieked in my ear, her expression more shocked than Jan's had been.
"Well, I don't have all of it anymore," I said. "I offered Gen. Rackham a billion for lifetime protection and to make sure the cartels stay away from me. He took 25,000 kilograms of gold. Mr. Patterson is arranging to ship the rest to Switzerland for me. He said if the price hits $1,500 an ounce, that'll mean another $4 billion on the original amount. Even after the general took his cut, what I've got left would be worth almost $23 billion at that price."
"Marry me," the blonde husked, pushing her boobs into me even harder.
"Oh, and part of the deal with Tri-Star is protection for my relatives and the ladies in my life," I added. "That'll include you two as long as you're willing to stay with me. That'll save you whatever you're paying them."
"Marry both of us," Arlene husked with a nostril flare, the talk of big money causing her to squirm as the scent of her arousal became evident. "Hell, buy your own country and pass a law so you can marry all of us!"
"Who else knows?" Jan asked.
"Well, my father, grandfather, Mr. Patterson, Dr. Ensberry, Mr. Richards, Gen. Rackham and however many Tri-Star folks were with us at the time," I said. "Morgan figured it out about the cash because I put some of the info in one of my stories for Creative Writing, but she doesn't know about the gold. Lupita was locked in one of the trailers, but I don't know if she realized what was in there."
"We're going to have to have lunch together again tomorrow," Arlene said. "I'll see if we can get one of the private rooms at the club."
"Morgan suggested something like that, just without the club," I said. "She also expects me to take her shopping in Paris pretty soon. She wants to go over spring break, but her dad may make her wait for summer vacation."
"Will we be in Paris in March?" Jan asked.
"We can probably arrange it," Arlene said. "We could all stay in the same hotel."
"Or," I cut in, and idea taking shape in my mind, "we could rent a place that'll hold everyone. You know the other girls will want to go if Morgan gets to."
"Why don't I just buy a mansion near the fashion houses?" Arlene snorted. "Along with something in London. Chelsea or Belgravia, maybe."
"I'll leave that up to you," I smirked. "Think you can find something suitable for less than 10 million?"
"Seriously?" Jan gasped.
"Why not?" I asked. "I mean, real estate's only going to appreciate in value. If I wind up having to spend much time in those countries, might be worth it to have places lined up. My grandmother's already looking at a place in Manhattan that we might be able to get in the libel suits. Paris would put you within a train ride of most of Western Europe. Couldn't hurt to have something in London, too."
"I'll think about it," Arlene said, "but you're paying for everything."
Before we could spend the rest of my fortune — residences in Madrid, Rome, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen flashed through my head — the doorbell rang. I extracted myself from between the goddesses to go answer.
I was practically bowled over by the vision that awaited me.
Elise, looking like an Amazon goddess with a choker and Gucci pendant, stood there smiling shyly. She seemed somewhat nervous as I just gawked.
She'd done something to her hair, which had been brushed out and hung lustrously over her left shoulder, and her makeup was expertly applied. She was clad in what I at first thought was one of Arlene's sheath dresses, except that it reached her knees. I noticed she had it pulled up on her shoulders, though, which I think meant she was wearing a regular bra. The dress was a dark red/maroon knit (wool? blend?) and hugged her figure.
"Ready to go?" she asked.
"Almost," I managed to croak, stepping back to allow her to enter. "Please, come in. It won't take me a minute."
As Elise stepped past me, I could only marvel at the way the fabric molded itself to her ass. I didn't notice a pantyline. That just reminded me of Kacie's line about what I would do if the tall girl ever forgot to wear panties.
Oh, God. I'm in trouble now.
"Told ya that dress would look amazing on you," Arlene snickered, rising from the couch to greet my date. "It's comfortable and it's machine-washable."
"I'm just glad it has long sleeves," Elise said. "It's kinda chilly out there tonight."
"What'd your father say?" Jan asked.
"He hasn't seen it yet," the tall girl giggled. "Mom's kept him busy since we got home this afternoon."
Not sure I needed to hear that, but maybe he'd be too worn out to come after me for defiling his daughter. Which wasn't going to happen if we just stood around gabbing all evening.
"Gary, you'd better go finish getting ready," Arlene commanded, seemingly sensing my eagerness to get on with the evening. "I'm sure Elise is getting hungry. We'll see ourselves out. We need to get to the club, anyway. Maybe we'll see you there."
The redhead and the blonde gave me tame hugs on their way out, avoiding leaving lipstick prints on me for once. Probably a good thing. I mean, my date was standing right there.
"Oh, before I forget, I'm supposed to give you this," Arlene said, holding out the garage door opener the Osbornes had brought. "We've already closed it for you."
"Thanks," I said, stuffing the device in a pants pocket before turning to Elise. "So, where would you like to go?"
"Definitely not the club," she said, following me to the office. "I think my parents are going there if they're not still busy. How about FB?"
"Only if you're willing to put up with Antonia," I snorted. "She's right up there with Rhonda Devers when it comes to disapproving of me."
"I think I'd rather chance eating at the club with my folks," she replied with her own snort. "At least Daddy doesn't disapprove of you. He just thinks we should get married before going that far."
I wasn't about to discuss marriage with any the girls just yet. I hadn't even thought in such terms other than "someday." And if I did, Morgan, Bethany and Staci needed to be at the top of the list. Not that I was looking to take advantage of the others, but too many (all?) of them had been intent on using me to scratch their itch without thinking about the long term.
Collecting my pocket contents, I noticed my phone was below 40 percent. I really should have put it on to charge after we got everything loaded for the Osbornes, but people kept demanding my attention. I just hoped I didn't have many calls until we got back.
The situation did make me plug in the laptop. I don't know if it got fully charged this afternoon and I needed to do that reading for Economics and English at some point.
As I did that, we continued to discuss acceptable restaurants. We'd had barbecue for lunch, so Cookshack was out. Besides, Elise said, she didn't want to be tempted by those desserts again. Morton's was too far and I wasn't dressed for it, anyway.
After nixing Chinese, Thai and pizza, I was afraid we were running out of options. Neither one of us wanted fast-food burgers.
"How about that Italian place, Garibaldi's?" Elise suggested.
"I'm game if you are," I said, trying to remember if I'd ever eaten there.
Then we had to decide whose car to take.
"Yours," Elise smirked. "I just walked over here."
A look at her feet showed she was wearing flat sandals, which at least made that believable. I didn't want to think about how her feet would be hurting in heels. It also kept her from being even taller than me.
I grabbed the windbreaker Marie had left hanging on a chair, thinking I needed to return the chairs to the dining area one of these days, and shut off the light. I did leave the living room light on, not wanting to return to a dark house, and held the door for my date.
Making sure the door was locked, I took the tall girl by the hand and headed toward the alley. Pulling out the key fob to unlock my car reminded me I needed to get the one with the panic button out of the apartment. I didn't want to hear the general saying "I told you so."
"Gimme just a sec," I said once Elise was seated. "I need to get one more thing."
Knocking on the apartment door just to be safe, I was greeted by feminine squeals when Marie opened the door.
"Daddy!" from the little waif.
"Master!" from Jo.
"¡Patron!" from Lupita.
"Ladies," I acknowledged, collecting hugs from all three as I attempted to reach the dresser. "I just need to get something."
"Where are you taking Elise?" Marie asked.
"An Italian place called Garibaldi's," I said, draping the lanyard around my neck.
"And then?" my first pet asked with a knowing leer.
"Haven't discussed it," I said. "Maybe a movie or something."
"Or something," Marie smirked, reaching for the top drawer. "Here, take some protection just to be safe. I think it's about to strike midnight on her virginity in the next couple of hours."
With that, the little waif stuffed two condoms into my shirt pocket. I have no idea where they came from. I could have sworn I'd used up that box by now.
"Thank you, baby," I muttered, wondering if Elise had announced her intention to do the deed tonight. "Y'all be good. I'll see ya tomorrow."
"Bye, Daddy," Marie said. "Have a good time."
It cost me more hugs to get out of there, but it went about as quick as I could have hoped. I really needed to sit down and talk to Jo about her expectations for the future. And Lupita, for that matter. But it wouldn't be tonight. I had another female demanding my attention.
"That was fast," Elise smirked as I got behind the wheel and clipped the garage door opener to the visor. "I'm surprised those three let you out of there so easy."
"I get the feeling they knew you were waiting and didn't want to get on your bad side," I said, thinking I should have kept the whip from the Halloween costume for such occasions.
Nah. Marie would probably insist I use it on her.
Once out of the alley, Elise began directing me toward the restaurant. It turned out I had eaten there before. It was the place I took Bethany the night I claimed her virginity. I could only pray Mrs. Stirling didn't come knocking on the door if Elise got a little loud tonight.
There was a bit of a wait at the restaurant since it was Saturday night, but we didn't run into anyone we knew. I guess Tuscan cuisine wasn't that big an attraction for high school dates.
Elise filled me in on her plans for Stanford. She was thinking of majoring in business or finance, but was willing to take a look at education. Made sense since that was the field her parents were in.
She was supposed to fly out with her mom the first weekend of January and move into the dorm that housed women athletes on Jan. 7, the first Monday of the year, but wouldn't start classes for another week. The time between would be filled with a special freshman orientation geared toward incoming athletes, learning their way around Palo Alto and how to do things the Stanford way.
She'd CLEPped out of 15 hours already and would start with 102 courses. She could graduate with a year of eligibility remaining, two if she was redshirted next fall. That'd make it too easy to hang around and go for a master's with Stanford footing the bill.
"What about Olympics?" I asked just as our table was announced.
"I'll at least try for Tokyo in two years," she said as the hostess escorted us to our table, "but I think Paris is a better bet. I'll be 28 when they come to LA. That'd probably be my last chance.
"If I don't get a shot at Tokyo, I'll have a chance to play more at Stanford that season because some older girls who make the team will likely take a break that fall. Tryouts for the national team start almost as soon as the college season ends and the schedule is pretty intense, even for non-Olympic years. They still have the world championships to get ready for. Even if I redshirt, I'd at least like to get an invite to tryouts next year."
Conversation took a break as we scanned the menu. It didn't take me long to make my decision — bistecca alla fiorentina — but Elise had to get our server to explain all the different sauces used for pasta dishes.
"Promise you won't forget about me when I'm out there?" she pleaded once our meals arrived and we were left alone.
"As long as you don't forget about me," I said. "Any guy smart enough to get into Stanford will be smart enough to notice a girl like you. It's just a matter of time before one gets up the courage to take his shot."
"None of the boys around here ever have," she pouted.
"Yeah, but you'll be surrounded by a bunch of DI jocks who are smart enough for Stanford. They'll all look like Greek gods and are used to being the top dog," I said. "Just basketball and volleyball will have a bunch of tall guys trying to get your attention. And don't get me started on football. They don't even look at a quarterback shorter than 6-4 and linemen will be even bigger."
"Is being shorter than me that big a deal for you?" she asked, sounding a little peeved.
"If it was, I wouldn't be here," I said. "Like I said at lunch, you're more than just the tall girl. You're as beautiful as any model I've worked with and I enjoy your company. You've made Chemistry class something I've looked forward to. I'm going to miss seeing you every day."
And having those boobs rubbed on me, I thought. God, I hope I hadn't said that out loud.
"You think I'm beautiful?" she blushed brightly.
Good lord. Does this girl ever look in a mirror?
"Exquisitely," I affirmed. "And with a figure to die for. Or kill for. Those college boys won't know what hit ’em."
Elise, still blushing, smiled shyly. Gosh, she was pretty. Suddenly, both of us were in a hurry to finish our meals. Dessert wasn't even considered. I had my debit card on the table before I swallowed my last bite of steak.
The check was dealt with quickly. I think the staff at Garibaldi's was as ready for us to get out of there and free up a table as we were to leave. Elise clung close as we walked to the car, letting go only when I opened the door and handed her to her seat.
Where to go or what to do with the rest of the evening wasn't even brought up. I pulled into the driveway at the Osborne house a little after 8 and parked in the garage for the first time. Elise at least waited for me to get her door as the garage closed, but wasted no time in heading inside the house. I think we were both looking for the nearest horizontal surface.
The couch in the living room may not have been the nearest, but it was close enough. And it was the nearest one we both knew about. I barely had time to shuck my windbreaker before Elise had me in a liplock.
I couldn't remember the last time I engaged in a high school makeout session. Most of the girls I'd been with seemed to be in a hurry to get on with getting it on. Not that Elise needed much warming up, but I was willing to let her set the pace. We had nearly four hours to work with, after all.
The first indication I had that she was ready to kick things up a notch was when I felt buttons on my shirt being undone and a hand start rubbing my chest. I suppressed a chuckle at the thought it was usually the guy trying to get the girl's shirt open.
My response was to kiss my way down her neck and across her shoulder. Arriving at the fabric of her dress, I reached up and pulled the material off her shoulders. I'd been correct in my assumption she was wearing a regular bra.
I moved the straps out of the way and began kissing my way across her upper chest, which was a little flushed. Elise was panting a little as she lay back against the arm rest and cradled my head. I was just about to the point I'd reached the night of the Homecoming game, my tongue insinuating itself under the bra cup in search of a nipple, when I felt her shift under me to get her legs on the couch.
That led to a hand sliding up a thigh, pushing the fabric of her dress higher. Have I ever mentioned Elise has incredible legs? It seemed to take forever to move my hand up that long, toned thigh. I encountered no undergarment upon reaching her hip, so I decided to get a look.
Sliding down until I was between her knees, I started kissing my way back up, alternating from left leg to right. Elise started trembling, her breath becoming ragged, as I neared my goal. I was almost there, reaching to see if she might be wearing a thong, when she stopped me.
"I think we need to move this upstairs," she gasped, chest heaving. "Marie said she made up one of the beds."
I looked up to see my tall girlfriend was just barely keeping the essentials covered. The top of her dress still covered the tips of her breasts, but a good portion of the bra was on display. The hem was bunched just below her crotch. Good thing that knit fabric could stretch.

A fairly lengthy chapter but considering this was the first time with Elise, it really makes sense. I have heard about the whole thing with sperm that Gary mentioned and I'm not sure what to make of it so I'm caught off guard by the reminder. The date was fine if a bit brief. Then again, it is very clear that Elise had her mind on something else other than the date and it certainly went better than expected.
