Sun and moon

My mental health does not shine without sunlight. I’ve been in The Quad Cities since about April and have had such life changing events since then. This time is incredibly valuable to me but I do miss that Island sunshine. I’m hoping to go back mid to late January if all is calm on the Midwest home front. The sunshine definitely clears my head and warms my heart. I’m one of those people who would rather be frolicking in the sunshine than skiing through the snow. Don’t get me wrong both are fun, but I definitely need that vitamin D! Do you prefer sun or snow?Heat or cold? Why?

Since I've retired I don't like the cold winter weather here in Ore. would love to be a snow bird and travel to the warmer area's of the country.

I am a sun worshipper, despite the dangers. I do use sunscreen, but I feel best when I feel the sun's warm rays on my skin. A day at the beach is therapeutic. Nothing beats it. The Sun baking on skin is a wonderful feeling. Swamping in sweat and humidity is a trial. Would we really appreciate the warm sun without the cold of Winter, and vice-versa? I am a four season kind of person enjoying all of the extremes and the relief of transition seasons. Absolutely gorgeous moon, btw.

I will take sun and heat over snow and cold any day. Here in DFW it was 82° degrees and I was loving it. I hate putting on layers of clothes to be comfortable. I'd rather be sitting by a pool, lake or ocean in swimming trunks soaking in the sun than bundled up by a fire pit. I absolutely hate cold weather.
