Hi, Maggie Mae! Thanks for making it clear to me why I felt hollow having seen Sucker Punch! Of all places that happened in New York City, the one and only time I've been in the U.S seven years ago. Watching this video I had several moments of thinking of what to say and then the next thing you said flushed them away. What remained was this: what if Zack Snyder was a side stream artist trying to make himself known? Would we not see through then? What is it that makes him opaque to everyone simply because he is mainstream? Opaque to everyone else but you, my dear Maggie Mae! You got his address loud and clear, I think.

I hope you’re going to do an addendum after the famous cut finally comes out and is inevitably on a continuum with this misanthropic/misogynistic schlock. I mean it’s tiresome to point this out, but it’s nothing to do with box office even. This guy keeps getting money to make drab, largely unpopular movies because his worldview is in line with that of the present-day Hollywood money men. He and every other “terraform the planet”/“depopulate the universe” blockbuster is propaganda for their übermensch fantasies and greedy nihilism.

Great video! I know it's a quick blurb but it's always interesting to see people talk about Black Widow being a monster because she can't have kids when I always took that discussion as her describing the full extent of what she went through in order to make her a monster, how totalizing it was, but how she's trying to move past that - just like she hopes Bruce will.

The discussion of Babydoll's "liberation" by labotomy makes me think of Terry Gilliam's assertion that Sam Lowry has a happy ending in Brazil - that he escapes to the one place his tormentors cannot reach him. I've not seen Sucker Punch, though, so I'm not going to speculate further on this... and maybe you've already compared these (I'm new to your channel and haven't caught up entirely).

I can't get over how incredibly ugly Znyder's films are, absolute eyesores.

Doesn't need reshoots, but you definitely deserve the $70 million...
