Golden Tower
The kilometric tower keeps growing even taller! As you climb all thousand floors of the Golden Tower, golden veins start to appear more often in the floor and walls. It's a beautiful and disgusting sight at the same time. It's like if the veins of the polished marble were carrying golden blood through a white, pale and translucent skin. A mix between architecture and organic fluids. Almost like if it were corrupt.
But here it is finally, after days of climbing and with sore legs, you see it:
The Essence Forge
This floor is where the Essence Weapons are created. Skillful blacksmiths, carefully pour the extracted essence from the floors down below, into the forge. Very fine golden, and very powerful, weapons of all kinds are born here. Getting them is not going to be an easy task.
The Heart
Literally. The Heart. A golden amalgam of muscles and veins sit at the center of the chamber. Everything makes sense now. The tower is alive, and it's pumping the extracted gold essence from the slaves to feed the tower. They are just not golden veins through the marble, they are semi-organic blood vessels.
The cultists are draining the prisoners to feed the tower.
The Portal
The final floor. A thousand years old and five thousand meters above ground (3 miles for my imperialist friends).
Empty. Silent. Corrupted by time, and fixed by gold.
The last step to face the Angel that lingers on the roof above. Prepare for an epic battle.
