That doesn't really mean much. Since with the established world of retale, that could just mean a new manager was hired. Which if that's not the case then that's why I said what I originally said.

The picnick party at the end of the game. You pick who gets to eat you and then it's heavily implied that you get digested.

How do you die in the first game might I ask?

But you essentially die in the first one, so confused how it could be a continuation from the first. Or are we playing as someone different this time around?

Hey Murader! Retale 2 will be completely free and a separate game. It follows on from the first, its a sequel! Retale 1 also had a demo released before the full game! Originally this release was going to be a demo, but because of how much content was in this one, I decided to go with calling it a chapter. Like the first game, Retale 2 and all of its expansions will be completely free :)

So will Retale 2 be paid content then? Or a free game like the first? Also if I may ask, why the change up in release format? Since the first game was released as one whole package.
