[PH][Release] Diao Chan from DW9
🕑 Added 2018-09-28 09:55:02 +0000 UTCI decide to release my PH version of Diao Chan 2 days earlier. PH mods are still not so mature as HS ones. But basically okay.
Because this is my first real PH mod but not a regular HS mod, and it still need some sort of testing, I'll directly release it to the public on Oct 1st, instead of making it patron-only for a month first.
First thing, Studio is not included in this mod, because of some fatal errors (hair texture failure, and other faces messed up). So this mod will only replace resources.assets file under PlayHome64bit_Data folder.
Requirements: Wide Slider, MoreSlotID, HoneyPot are needed.
INSTALLATION
1. Back up your resources.assets file under PlayHome64bit_Data folder. If you don't do this, when problem occurs, you'll not have a chance to restore. The mod replaces Face Type 4 in the original game, that may cause conflicts.
2. Unzip the zip file to the root folder where PlayHome64bit.exe lies. Continue to replace the existing resources.assets file.
3. If you installed my ZhenJi mod before, this will replace all her mod files too.

BUG FIXING
Special thanks to 3 of my patrons: Johnny Scan, nhzr, and ??. They helped a lot in the bug fixing process.
1. If your character disappear and the game screen shows something like the following...
...use the alternative files to replace the ones you just installed.
I've tested both files. They're okay on my two different versions of PH. Sadly, I don't know what version mine is....
2. If your hair turns purple in game like this:
Please install HoneyPot plugin. That's because my hair is tested in HS, and PH uses a different version of Unity and lacks some shader for hair shading.
3. If the top part of your hair shines very bright in game, that's because of blooming in PH. I didn't solve the problem, but you can go into settings and disable bloom as follows: 
(I used to use PHIBL. But this convenient way is told to me by My patron Mr ??, thanks to him. And he says this might be caused by holes in the hair, I think it's reasonable. Maybe I'll try to fix it next time, but not a very big problem.)
4. Last resort: upgrade your PH into the latest version, download and use the Alternative 1.4? version link. Or follow my tutorials at the bottom to port fbx files yourself.

If the character disappears or if some bizarre texture appears on the teeth, tongue or somewhere else, try the following tutorials. You need to use SB3U (v1.12.10 recommended) to port my fbx files (in the fbx folder of my zip file) into your own resources.assets file(s).

HELP! the face become messed up in my PH.. the mouth, nose and eye are dislocated. I've tried using the SB3UG like you said but it doesn't work. Can you help me please? I'm using PH version 1.4
Brah. Can you fix the shinny part of her hair? It's like a flash light and if I turn off the bloom that will make the whole game darker.

Maybe Diao Chan HS will be added into my polls later this month or next month. Not decided yet, but surely will be released.

Your game might be a little bit too old. Maybe you could upgrade your game to the latest version and use my "alt" version of zip file. Hope this answer could solve the problem.

Hi Xyth24, your MOD is really amazing! I installed it, but when I load the game, the game crashed. what can I do to fix this problem? even I used the Backup file of Resource Asset the game still doesnt function anymore thank you in advance!!

Yeah, PH is really great in terms of graphics and animations. And that's why I insist on making PH mods even when no one gives PH requests. But in terms of mods and extendibility, HS is far better.

This is my personality opinion, This is so good. great. And, PHs graphics is to my liking(but...UX, Studio,etc..is worse than HS ). Im appreciate you.

It works on My PH (ver 1.4&patch0226)! Im using HoneyPod plus (alt-link for 1.4??).

Great to hear another successful running! Maybe I'll not transplant HIS mods to PH. I don't know if I will do some of my own DoA PH mods. But DoA's texture is a little bit low-resolution for PH I guess. See how things going in the future. In fact, a lot of my earlier mods didn't take PH porting into account, so hard to deal with in PH, for example ZhenJi, lot of bugs that cannot be fixed, unless re-import from the beginning.

还有很多bug，版本原因造成比较多的麻烦。而且PH本身不够开放，我只能替换角色。mod少也限制了它的发展。不过画面和动画确实是好多了
