I just got back from a trip to London, and visiting Sharks! was on my to-do list! I was sad that I didn't get to see inside Antepavilion; they didn't answer the phone, the door, or their Instagram...but Sharks! - all five of them - are presently in the canal in all of their sharky glory, as of September 2025!!

HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN THAT THE SHARKS ARE TO BE FREED AGAIN
Gearóid O'Connor
Loved this.

I don't believe so. I think Grey only does those for 'Main' videos.
Johnnie Graham
Did he make one??
Bob Kunz
Found the glitch!
Mike Gibson
One of my favorite recent videos. I have so many questions!

He has a personal stake in the fate of his channel and not being sued xD I think it was most likely the legal implications that were stressful, and figuring out what he could and couldn't say
Vandy Beth Glenn
Honestly, Grey, how "stressful" could your research into this really have been? It's not like you have a personal stake in the fate of these sharks (or the H-Vac, or the theater wall).

What an absolute joy of a video.

I don't like the art. I like the idea of conserving old buildings and their aesthetic. But I really want them to win against "the authority". It's a perfect act of civil disobedience.

My sister used to work in local government, and now I cannot help but think of her many urgent projects as being set to the Hackney injunction music. 😂

At first when I saw this video's notification fly by, I thought Grey must be losing it and this would be lame. Boy was I wrong, so much drama over SHARKS! At least stateside, I could see this as being the thing that could backfire terribly. Like, referendum to have SHARKS! installed permanently int he lobby of the Hackney offices or something terribly.

Anything to avoid working on the American Indians projects

This is why my CGP GREY Patreon subscription is better than Netflix to me.

Have to say this was hilarious from grey going “Hey, What’s that!” To the MONTHS of research to the final bureaucratic heavy story coming out to that final twist ending. 10/10 start to finish
Jessy Pelletier-Lemire
I am sure Grey would definitely not promote mass "engagement" on this matter. Just like he would NEVER promote Wikipedia vandalism. That would be crazy and irresponsible. Be sensible, lads! ;-) * grabs popcorn somewhere in Canada *

For those who feel so inclined, the website from antepavilion has an example email to send the council. It can be found under News > Get Involved I'm sure the council welcomes public engagement on these issues :-)

This is a lot of fun, I always love it when someone takes the trouble to annoy buroqracey
Jack Fractal
This is goddam marvelous.

I love this. Grey, you are so fun and so informative. Teachers could really learn from such behaviors! Also, I feel some Internet Historian influences here. Love it! 🐶❤️

This is my favourite subject I have learned about in many moons.

I’m so glad you moved to the Patreon model so you can make videos like this

🤞God I really want a director's commentary on this
