Outlook: Cheeky
🕑 Added 2017-06-28 03:36:08 +0000 UTC This is from a set I did for Bachelor Pad Magazine a few years ago. Photo by Modern Noir. This photo had too much buttcrack for their standards then. HA!I'm working on my Golden Legend Champion Challenge costume. It's killing me that I can't talk about the act on social media. Of course, I'm the reason the gag rule is in place.
Last year I was supposed to compete. Two months before the initial competition date, they moved up the date by a month and changed the location. I had to bow out. Before that, I shared photos of the appliqués I used, the hand beading I did, the fabrics I selected. All the while I talked about how great it was to work with King of Burlesque Matt Finish. I never gave away details of the act (which won the golden buffalo), but I was reprimanded for sharing. Now, I think social media can generate excitement for a thing. I wanted to generate excitement for the competition. That's not how some of the powers-that-be viewed it.
So I can't share anything. Mother fucker. I'm doing some cool shit, dancing to some cool music, working on a cool costume while Mr. Snapper helps with the tricky parts. I'm working with Coco Lectric this weekend on some choreography. (She's clever, fun and elegant.)
What can I say about the act? There are things visible in this photo that influence the act. That's banal enough.
