As someone who grew up under the influence of Bob Ross back when he was making his show, this works on every level and I know he would be happy and proud. This makes me want to see some fan art of these characters and/or Marcie as Mr. Rogers. He believed that human emotions were healthy and normal, and he wanted the kids who grew up knowing they were loved and okay. Like Jon and Alex. He even told a friend once that he saw himself as a mix of the feminine and masculine. Just morning coffee thoughts...
