While Curtis doesn't necessarily LOVE being a werebeast, he has grown to appreciate his exceptional form in the transitioning phase 2. He's basically a superhero: extra durability, extra strength, speed, balance, and total control. This is his official 'costume' for his 'superhero' activities. He doesn't have a name yet.
I fantasize about stories and concepts of my characters while I'm at work and I feel like I am unable to draw these ideas because they could conflict with the linear story I am telling with the comic. Introducing outside information could ruin the integrity of the story - but fuck it. This is a high stress time and I wanted to do something fun to lighten the mood.

I can imagine a side story where he wants to try to go out and be a superhero for a day, but as he is looking for trouble he just constantly gets distracted by all the bakeries in town haha

Of course! Little known fact: bears have the best sense of smell for any land animal. Curtis' smell and hearing isn't as strong as his final form but still way better than normal. Now he can find pies from several blocks away lol

Idk how to explain it but yes in a way they do. Cubs make a *chortle* sound when they drink their mommy's milk. If a bear is raised into adulthood by humans, then they enjoy suckling on humans fingers and they *chortle* from contentment. It's adorable and it's proof that bears are truly the most adorable because of how cute they can be while also being extremely large and powerful.

Exactly! That's the big idea for right now. I want to finish the tf comic, then do mini side comics alongside a main continuing story line. As soon as I can figure out how to balance making monthly mini comics too...
