I keep reading the title as "CEO claims value is overpowered" and my mind immediately serves me an image of some beancounter complaining that high quality gives games unfair advantage over his shovelware and makes it harder for him to profit, and it worries me how much it still fits

Off topic comment: My wife just asked if I'm listening to an Audiobook. You ought to pull a Yahtzee and write then read your own book series. You could make it about a detective trying to unravel a financial scheme.

Gotta say this episode was like a satisfying three course menu. Examining the situation layer for layer. Thinly sliced like carpaccio. A CEO tweeting out statements as rich as cacio e pepe. Valve is too dominant in PC gaming, but proton has me team valve for the foreseeable future. Proton allowed me to finally dump windows once and for all, and that alone is enough to keep me in steam.
