It is gambler's fallacy and shareholders are playing casino essentially. No one's investing in games for long term, not really. So anything that doesn't just print money is not interesting.

Editor, I see your The Great Train Robbery reference and counter that these games are more The Little Train Robbery. At this point, why aren't all of these types of games free-to-play from inception? Vid does a good job of supporting my opinion
