Just from the sound of it, seems like this game is full of missed opportunities. Like they either missed or fumbled so bad no one noticed the glaring opening for a sword-and-sorcerer duo, or at least a big brother/honorary uncle dynamic, maybe the protagonist likes his squire drawing pictures of him spectacularly slaying the monsters in heavy metal album cover style.
