With switch 2 game prices what they are, what will gta VI retail at upon launch?

Mrticketron

Are we about to see a whole lot more nailed down release dates for later in the year now that gta6 is sorta kinda nailed down

Inverse Skies

I think the real question is which one of you is going to draft GTA 6 for your league next year?

Far Too Many Frogs

no, i'm the same age as you. tried it, didn't like it. it's a hell of a narrative game though. A satire that's a total breakdown of American culture from an outsider's perspective in the beginning, and it's been a mainstay of both the games industry and marketing-by-controversy. Kids I was around growing up loved it, but I didn't get the appeal. tried 3, 4, and 5 all, and couldn't get into any of them.

Far Too Many Frogs

Do you think we'll see more resistance from second and third party developers/publishers, in both the double-A and triple-A space, to the $70-80 pricetag like with Mafia, Atomfall, Oblivion, and South of Midnight?

Insomnia Inc

I was always more of a saints row guy but I enjoyed the hell out of GTA5, dunno what I think yet, looks like a GTA game. So for a question have you see or heard anything about this Gothic remake we're getting? is that even on your radar? keep up the awesome.

Hate to break from the topic, but Marty I loved your article on watching Gundam 79! You said you’ve started the new GQuuuuuuX series, I’d love to hear some more of your thoughts on it.

Never cared for GTA myself, I didn't get the appeal to the base games, understood the multiplayer appeal a bit...but never desired to play it. Have a good podcast!

Can someone explain to me why GTA is so popular? I am 28 and have never played any and honestly have 0 interest. Am I broken?

I think GTA needs to move beyond pure satire and start having a point of view that it articulates. Satire is subversive but doesn't really advocate for anything. Same way a show like Veep or The Thick Of It wouldn't land the same today - kind of feels like fiddling while Rome burns

If not here, then the next The Rewind or a Darren column, but I'm interesting in hearing thoughts about Nathan Fielder's The Rehearsal Season 2. The show is pure insanity and genius. I just respect the hell out of it. No show makes me think and laugh out loud by myself more.
