Wow, this genuinely sounded like just the sort of game I would love and get absolutely emotionally invested. So for once, after having watch Yahtzee reviews since Tabula Rasa have I actually stopped watching his review because I don't wait the ending spoiled.

Yahtzee has always chosen what he wants to review. Never been my call outside of making suggestions - Nick

I’ll have to check this out. So glad to have Second Wind where Yahtzee can go off on inspired non algorithmic choices (and can do them so well, and where Nick gives him enough free reign to do so.)

I was excited about this game for the reasons similar to those given at the end of the vid but I found the dialogue writing unbearable. There is a particular flavor of cringe that comes with Polish studios trying to write modern-day or future characters in English; oddly enough, no such issue with fantasy stuff. And, English voicing generally being the one with the most effort put in, that is a bummer. I am probably oversensitive since my first couple languages are slavic (not Polish, sadly) but this phenomenon has effectively locked me out of enjoying the dying light series as well as CP2077. There's something too close for comfort there; perhaps evoking the cringy shit I probably said while first learning English. Looks like this game will collect virtual dust in my library; to be occasionally reinstalled and played long enough to remember that, though I find the idea of it very compelling, it makes me cringe so hard, I cannot stomach actually playing it.

This game is so gloriously infuriating, I now have 2 completely failed runnings and I can't pull myself away.

Glad to know I wasn’t the only one who fell in love with this game and put a lot of words to my feelings. It contains the Frostpunk/War of Mine element of hard management and challenging moral decisions but ties it well with the interesting sci-fi concepts (exploring identity with clones) plus a very personal story of self-reflection

Can't wait to start playing this now it has the seal of approval!

Between this review and MindsEye in our immediate future, this is epic.

Had to stop at 40 seconds because I am playing it currently and just hearing that Yahtzee loved it means I need to buckle in and get through it before Death Stranding 2 comes out. Will come back to enjoy the rest of the review then.
